Also, I hope to see the new blocks utilised nicely for the new capital. I really liked the look of Nether Brick, perhaps that could be used in the Deep Roads? I don't know, but the nice new blocks, especially the stone ones, should be used if they look good.

We shouldn't really discuss colonies anyway, since there would technically no use to them for quite a while, since we are all supposed to be inside the capital, no need for more random towns

Just one sort of the perpous Alras served bit would be heavily moderated by the kingdom to avoid doing as Alras. Just to bring minas and ores to the kingdom. Kinda want a mining colony now but there is no point. Plus there would be very little housin mainly mining.

How about as the population scales the quality and quantity of Dwarven colonies scale? Hm?

Then th' dwarves become spread out to two - three different cities and we go back to what happened one or two months ago with multiple cities, and no one inside of Kal'Urguan. We are still trying to get it back to the way it was, and are far from it, but a little better right now.

There should only be one colony, not even at the start of the new world, but maybe a couple weeks later when it becomes a necessity if the locations of the cities are far from each other or we find a nice mine.

I would like to see getting Halflings (except Brian) being more involved, since they're your cusins. Some ale festivals or maybe a small Halfling district in the Hills? Just some of my thoughts about the Dwarven Nation.

We're half dwarfs, half humans so we kinda are part dwarf :P But ya we won't be developing the colonies or towns.

I think the new capitol needs to be very defensive-minded. I think lava-walling (from the Art of War thread on minecraftforum.net) could work very well for an underground dwarf castle hanging over a bottomless cavern. Also incorporate lots of bottlenecks (like the famous bridge from LotR) and make the route to the castle very long and complicated. If you want an adviser on defensive planning, I'm willing to help.

I 'ave the planning all done for defense as most of the battles will be fought over territories and not capitals.
