Kasfer brings the bottle to his lips, sipping the druid-rum. Sighing, he sets it beside him in the tree, gazing out at the night. He leans back as he kicks his feet into the open air in front of him, thinking about life, recent events, and how things have changed since he was a dedicant. The people he knew, the places he went… he realized it all changes with time, some faster than others.

Who even knew what Kary was thinking these days? And what about Glineth, and her change in ideals? Oliver got unattuned, J’Dul’s dead, Nani’s hardly around, Bee came back just yesterday, Branch disappeared, Rhova’s going off his rocker.. He takes a moment to take another sip of his rum, gazing at the moon which was steadily lowering in the sky. But some people stayed the same. Tailesin is still her old self, Za and Elly are as crazy yet pleasant as ever, Anthron is as serene as usual…. And to replace those that were lost, there are new people in my life. Ithuriel, the first druid I ever attuned, Eruiel, a very promising dedicant, Larry, one of the few halflings around the grove, Hecate, someone who I can depend upon, Missy, someone very special in my life… people and places change. They always do.

But nature, Kasfer thought, shifting his sitting position so he could view the rising sun, the thing I stands for, strides to defend and protect, remains much the same. Dangerous, beautiful, and incredibly powerful. No matter what happens, I always have that. It wouldn’t leave me like most all people eventually will. And as it remains true to me, I will remain true to it, continuing to do my best as a druid and a servant of the Aspects.

After a bit, being satisfied with his contemplation, Kasfer slowly gets up, grabbing the half-drank bottle and carrying it with down the tree. With a satisfied yawn, he stuffs it back under a tavern shelf for later evenings like this sort, before hobbling off towards his bed, more content then he had been in a long while.

(Just a lil' thing to pass the time)

All the while Tajo would roam the isles in search of knowledge of a glade, and of a man as he reflected upon his shun. The bald man would come to terms with the wrongdoings he plagued the order with, he was selfish as he chose to follow his mentor over the order. But in the future the man shall not act so rash, as he has grown from a wayward soul looking to the aspects as a form of gel, a way to be accepted.
