                                  In these times of turmoil and uncertainty, it is the will of his Majesty King Karl II of Haense and his Aulic Council to affirm those of noble and gentle status within the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and outline the due rights afforded by their status. The right of nobility is reserved for those born into an ancient family with historic and notable loyalty to the Kings of Hanseti-Ruska, and as such they are viewed as the esteemed foundations of the Kingdom’s success and are charged with aiding the Kingdom militarily, economically and politically. His Majesty cordially extends an invitation to the missing nobility of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska to return and affirm their fealty.

KNIGHTHOOD

A Heavy Haensetian Knight.

 

The honours of knighthood are largely ceremonial. His Majesty may see fit to knight an individual, irrespective of their social class, in recognition of acts of notable valour, bravery, skill or selflessness. Those worthy few whom are knighted by his Majesty adopt the title of Ser, and are elevated to the gentle class, affording them the enhanced rights as second-class nobles of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska.

RIGHTS OF THE NOBILITY

The Crow's Moot

 

As esteemed citizens of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, those of noble and gentle status are afforded the following rights, guaranteed and vindicated by his Majesty King Karl II and his Aulic Council. Those of nobility in the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska are entitled to the following rights.

 

Right to attend the Crow's Moot;

Each ennobled household sworn to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska is entitled to attend the Crow's Moot when called by his Majesty the King. The reigning patriarch of each House is permitted to voice his concerns and vote as necessary regarding major decisions. This right is not afforded to the gentle class.

 

Right to petition his Majesty in a private audience;

Members of the noble and gentle class are afforded the right to seek an audience with his Majesty King Karl II of Haense and petition him outside of the traditional normality of court petitioning.

 

Right to guaranteed property in the City of Markev;

Members of the noble and gentle class are afforded the right to guaranteed availability of at least one piece of property inside the City of Markev.

 

Right to purchase property on the outskirts of the City of Markev;

Members of the noble and gentle class are afforded the right to purchase property on the outskirts of the City of Markev in order to construct a larger estate and homstead befitting of their rank and title.

 

Right to squire offspring;

Members of the noble and gentle class are afforded the right to have their children squired to notable knights or members of the Royal Family, providing they demonstrate appropriate etiquette and competence.

 

Right to access the Krepost Palace;

Members of the noble and gentle class are afforded the right to access the ground floor of the Krepost Palace.
