The Greyguard Pact

In an effort to mend relations between our two Houses, that have been stained for decades we hereby declare a formal agreement of alliance. From the attempted assassination of Count Otto Baruch by Eric Ruthern, to the various skirmishes taking place afterwards, it is needless to say relations could only improve.

Left with violence fresh in their minds, their successors, Counts Rhys and Aldrik set forth to mend their families in order to end the internal hostilities between houses. The two formally met in Greyguard Hold to put in writing the following terms:

TERMS

I. NO member of House Baruch or Ruthern will harm or damage the other, in any possible way: physically or mentally.

II. Both parties agree to come to the aid of one another in times of conflict and war, with exception of acts of aggression or rebellion against the Crown       of Hanseti-Ruska

III. Both parties agree to work together in order to bring prosperity to both themselves and the Kingdom as a whole

IV. Both parties agree to free trade and travel throughout both Ayr and Metterden

V. Katherine Baruch agrees to be betrothed to Aildred Ruthern, in order to seal the houses relations, and to be wed at a later set date when they come of       age
