Farryn 860 Share Posted April 12, 2018 Elvira would raise an eyebrow, pausing in drinking her mocha in her hidden grotto. "...The person who wrote this is aware that if all Deitic 'cults' are wiped out completely and become no more, there won't be anything that'll hold an advantage over the undead aside from aurum blades that can break, and also less magics that actually hold the ability to heal people quicker than the average mundane healer, right? I mean, sure we follow the Aengudaemons but what's more important: Fighting someone and killing them because they don't follow a certain religion, or ensuring balance between light and darkness is kept and that there are capable magical healers roaming about? Because coming from a logical standpoint, I'd rather consider the larger issue of balance than the minor and unnecessary one of religion." She then shrugs. "Ah well. Not the first this was published out."

To worship and idolize a being whose sole purpose is to emerge victorious in quarrels among themselves, let alone trade their soul for immortality and unGODly powers, is not only an act of betrayal of one's people, but also corruptive. The fight between GOOD and EVIL may be fought without the involvement of unGODly magicks, but rather with sword and cross, for it is Iblees the betrayer that defied GOD, and it would only be correct if GOD's people were to drive his forces back to the nether." Sure, their religious choices are questionable, but they have helped us, and used their powers to further GOD's holy and just plans for us all. As far as I have seen, Aerial has not defied GOD like Iblees has, and the Ascended Order has, unlike the Clerical Order of the Elves of Sutica and the Druidic order of the Dominion, never strayed from their ideals and has kept a close watch on their members, ready to disconnect those who break their tenants. As an honest to GOD Canonist with devout respect to His word and that of the church of the Canon, I am personally quite fond of the Ascended Order for the good works they have done alongside us, and hold them in high regards for such. It would hurt the church in the long run to see them wiped out." Auralia countered.
