The Chosen One?

As you travel throughout the lands of Atlas, a simple missive would be pinned up in various taverns, noticeboards, or anywhere really one would look for information. The script that adorned the paper was elegant, hinting to an elven author most likely. If you took the time to read such, it says as followed:

The day was clear, not a cloud in the sky for miles. My arms ached as I rowed through the fierce waves of the northern seas, seeking something. I was unsure what it was I sought. Perhaps it was answers to problems I had come to face, or perhaps a new adventure to take me far away from my home. However, that day I found something I did not expect. Beaching my boat, I decided to head further inland nearby the nation of Krugmar to rest, my arms burning as if on fire from the strenuous activity of rowing a boat through the sea for hours unending. As I finished lighting a campfire, I made my way to the boat in order to bring up fish I caught earlier in the day to eat for lunch. When I returned to my small camp, I was startled to see a rather large, furred individual sitting at my fire as the sun finally fell below the horizon. This individual was huge, as tall as a tree and as thick as it's trunk. When I neared, he turned to me and offered a friendly nod and a single word I had not heard before.

"Sa'vi."

From his use and the circumstances, I assumed it was a greeting in his native tongue. I recognized what this creature was rather quickly, it was a Kharajyr, one resembling the magnificent tiger. What startled me was his fur. It was as white as snow, as if he himself had fallen from the clouds above. Black stripes circled him, accenting the pale color that primarily surrounded him. I know not why I felt driven to join this creature in a meal, but something felt proper in doing so. I sat down and we engaged in conversation for hours. He regaled me with tales of his travels, bouts with those who angered him in his youth, and apparently the dangers he faced being who or whatever he was. I met him tale for tale, regaling him of old stories from the battlefield, my time spent as the Lord General of Caras Eldar, and my hand in the growth of a nation. He was certainly entertained, as I was of his tales. But sadly, all good things must come to an end.

As our meal concluded, so to did this chance encounter. The white-furred Kharajyr stood and offered a nod, thanking me for the meal before departing into the hills and dunes that which surrounded us. I rested for the evening and remained by the fire. The creature came back into my mind several times. I had never seen a white-furred Kharajyr. I had never met one randomly, let alone one who was so well traveled. I am unsure what had occurred within the universe this day to of caused such a meeting, but I am thankful for it.

I hope to one day meet this stranger again and learn of his name, as well as his full story. Perhaps I will share my own.
