Long and great is the history of Caras Eldar, dubbed the ‘Jewel of Elvenesse’. Seated in the Loftywoods, Caras Eldar is home to all three elven races conjoined as a massive city. In recent years, the city has moved to seek a peaceful existence after being consumed in lengthy warfare with the now conquered nation of Krugmar. We now feature the September Prince, the King of the Elves, and more in the Dominion’s first CARAS ELDAR REPORT!

 

THE SEPTEMBER PRINCE

War! As the Orcs have been defeated to the south, a new enemy has arisen to face the sons of Malin. The September Prince has risen from his primordial rest to wreak havoc upon the world. Descendants from all corners of Atlas rally to lay low this false beast of nature. Of druidic origin, the September Prince intends to remove all vestiges of civilization. Join the fight here!

Amidst floating suspicions and rumors, some herald the coming of a new weapon to combat the September Prince. The world watches with bated breath as combined Descendent forces move to engage September’s minions in the coming Elven days.

 

NEW KING OF THE ELVES

In a peaceful transfer of power, King Kairn the Conqueror has taken a step down to relieve the Crown to his heir, Abelas Caerme’onn. Per ancient law, a Kingsmoot must still be called by the Seeds and Clans of the land to confirm Abelas as King. Although he is expected to emerge as the monarch, families may object and challenge for the title as leader of the Elves. 

 

RAID GONE WRONG

Confusion! With confirmed reports of bandits and raiders in Dominion lands, the garrison was called forth to defend the city. They were well prepared, until the invaders snuck in from behind the city! Breaching obscure walls and ignored defenses, the rarely penetrated Caras Eldar defenses were mounted. City defense was scattered between several districts. Some time passed before the bandits were finally driven from the city.

District Lords and the Virarim have been alerted to the defense breaches, with several teams of masons and builders sent to patch and fix the defenses to the outer rim of the city.

 

DIPLOMACY CORPS

Dominion envoys have long prided themselves in the peaceful and consistent nature that diplomacy brings. A new ‘Diplomacy Corps’ is now underway, with a push to establish multiple embassies in the nations that would have Elven presence. Dominion representative Belestram Sylvaeri now spearheads this movement alongside his fellow ambassadors. The presence of Dominion relations within the cities of Atlas now presents itself an opportunity.

Within the Mother Grove, the Autumn Druid Nivndil reads a copy of the report, bringing a cup of tea to her lips. Faintly glowing moss-green eyes, flick over the print and rest upon a few particular words. She lowers her cup.

 

"He's not Druidic, ikrun."

 

The Drui sighs gently, shaking her head before sipping her tea quietly and continuing to read.

Marco chuckles, remembering the rather successful raid he attended, and the few elves he killed during it.

"They weren't driven from the city, they left of their own will, your cowardly guards hid in their barracks while your citizens were getting slaughtered. The few guards that tried to fight back got stomped pretty hard, the rest were too scared to even leave the safety of the barracks. After the few guards that had balls fought and died, the raiders lay uncontested through out the entirety of the raid, they killed and vandalized much of the citizens before getting bored and leaving. I have witnessed that the dominion soldier will never fight unless they have outstanding numerical superiority. Instead they will sit down, relax and watch as the people they swore to defend get murdered. Buncha cowards" A young merchant would say
