NOMINATIONS FOR THE MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS, 1678

By order of the Auditor of the Realm, the following decrees are put in immediate within the City of Markev…

 

• The nomination process for individual participation in the election for Maer of the Royal City of Markev shall hereby begin,
• All interested individuals who wish to nominate themselves or another shall do so by both written slip and spoken speech, to be attached to this board and said in the St Karl Square respectively,
• And the selected body of individuals deemed acceptable for participation in the election for Maer of the Royal City of Markev shall be notified following the mandated time of three months for the nomination process to durate.

 

These protocols are to remain effect till otherwise deemed necessary by the Office of the Auditor or by change from respective legislature. All questions and concerns may be asked to the Office of the Auditor, located in Markev, Haense.

 Jacobus Altee nominates himself with a smile "I shall run for a better Markev." Jacob would say to himself. The boy soon runs back to the Barony of Ihirion to inform his father of his decision. On the way to his fathers keep, he recites his speech, "I, Jacobus Altee of House Enthelor hereby run for Maer of Markev! I will fight for your taxes, for your rights, and a better tavern for all! I will make sure everyone has work in the city and can support their families with mina and food. I am the best candidate because I will fight for you unlike the others. " Jacobus would stand tall pretending he is talking to a large crowd in the city square of Markev.

"I am going to nominate Alston Caunter, no better candidate than that man." Demetrius states such firmly within the tavern before marching towards the Office of the Auditor and officially handing in his nomination for 'Alston Caunter'.

A rather menacing knight reviews the proclamation, “I, Ser Oryx of Haense, nominate myself for the position of Maer. All those who vote for me get a free hug, and all who don’t get broken kneecaps.”

Amalie Caunter would hear of the proclamation, smiling to herself before heading straight to the Auditor's office, her nomination slip in hand "I think my father, Alston Caunter will do wonders for Markev as Maer!" She remarks proudly, handing in the slip with a certain decorum.
