Mystery Uialben harms no More

Unwillingly

Recommended Posts

The throne room slowly packed with suticans and visitors, the trial having been announced publicly over recent days. They all whispered to one another in anticipation, suspense lingering in the air. The room was quiet, nothing but the faint murmurs between the judges and citizens heard.

Aila Avern stood besides Mystery Uialben, who had been drinking a bottle of alcohol. Princess Cyrene promptly snatched it from him, taking it for herself. Those sitting chuckled a bit.

Soon, the room fell silent as Lily Anarion, Minister of Law and Justice spoke:

“The first session of the Sutican Court of Justice is called to order!"

And so the trial began.

“It is the decision of the court that Mystery Uialben is to be punished as follows: his dominant arm shall be removed, so that he may carry a blade no more, his remaining eye extracted, so that he may not see his victims to harm, and he shall be branded with the sutican insignia so that he can be identified. Should he step foot on sutican soil, he is to be killed on the spot.”

People cheered, waving their fists as some even spat on Mystery. Two clerics, Aila and Alakagh are to attend the maiming to ensure he doesn't bleed to death, while Princess Cyrene is to carry out the punishment.

((This trial was public, so anyone can be made aware of it. Mystery has been shelved, according to his player. Also keep in mind, none of us had anything against the guy OOCly as some might have thought. We're all great friends and we had a lot of fun. I enjoyed all of the RP with him actually, despite what Cyrene has said or done! He's a great guy OOCly. Have a good one and take it easy, Mystery.))

Aila Avern, though briefly horrified by the verdict she requested.. Is at peace. Justice has been meted out upon Mystery Uialben, neutralizing the maleficar. "Thilln'sae Sul'ehya. Let this be a warning that Sutica welcomes the depraved no longer." She'd quietly sip an adult beverage responsibly in her palatial home for several moments, a malicious smile playing upon the corner of her lips. "Ay'Tahariae."

BY THE HIGH KING REGENT OF KAZ'ULRAH

To the Government of Sutica

THE HIGH KING REGENT DEMANDS that a transcript of the trial be sent to the council of Kaz'Ulrah within 72 stone hours of this declaration, in response to the maiming of the leader of the Uialben Estate, vassal state of the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah. Let it be known that a fair warning was declared to the general public when a bounty was placed on Mystery Uialben's head, 10 months prior to this trial:

LET IT BE KNOWN that if no such word is received within the aforementioned time, then Kaz'Ulrah will seek decisive measures to restore the honor of the Uialben Estate, in our own way. The transcripts may be sent to myself, High Prelate Nerak Frostbeard, Garrond Frostbeard, High Marshal Dwarger Silvervein, or High Remembrancer Kazrin Starbreaker.

((This section is partially OOC.
@ryno2 Can you please PM me on the forums with your discord information? I am the Minister of Law in Sutica and thus I will be the ooc contact in ensuring we have your questions answered.))

[!] A letter would be penned to the The High King Regent Of Kaz'ulrah.

"This open letter is sent to The High King of Kaz'ulrah. My name is Lily Anarion and I am The Minister Of Law and Chief Justice. We were expecting you to seek to contact us, and as such we have answers prepared for you. You are of course invited to Sutica to speak personally with me and The Trade Princess. This trial was held with Mystery Uialben's consent, and the punishment will seek his consent as well. His punishment has yet to be carried out, so no honor has been harmed.
Thank you so very much for your time,
Lily Anarion."

"...Whoa, Cyrene's a princess." Csaba breathes an audible 'huh.'

"Holy **** it's Csaba." The fellow 'Ker said from near the man.

A Ker woman would look upon this as a tear would fall down her check as she returned to her home for multiple days.
