shortchangehero 4217 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Just an idea I had but; what if people were denied the ability to join combat role-play scenarios after a certain amount of time had passed from when they first started. An example of this being two opposing soldiers getting in a role-play fight and after 10 IRL minutes pass from when they first emoted, no one who shows up after being allowed to join the combat. I think this would be a good way of stopping meta-rallying (When people meta-game OOCly to get more people to show up to an IC fight). If anyone wants to, I’d like to see what they think of this idea with a response below. Otherwise thanks for reading. Temp 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2018 I’d adjust it for a set number of emotes instead of a time limit. If the person on the receiving end of a meta rally just emotes *dodges or some variant, the attacker can just bail on the fight to save themself. Rp reason would be that a fight only lasts like a minute irp, its just the emotes that take hella long. I had a fight so long that many people just started showing up out of the blue, all on their own. We didnt want a dogpile so all of us in the fight quickly agreed to kick out anyone that wasnt there for the beginning of the fight. It was more fun that way, for that rp anyways.
