Dawsy 222 Share Posted July 2, 2019 Beet Beat-Down It was the 12th of Amber Cold, 1722. The sun rising as Philip rose with it. Strong aboard his horse he road towards the beautiful city of Ves. Upon arrival five Ves false-guardsmen, known as “The Beet Boyz” stood within the city. Vanishing for a moment, Philip moved to follow them. What he found was astonishing. These “Beet Boyz” had changed their armor in an attempt to disguise themselves. Interested in this Philip had followed the men through the roads. Hiding in bushes and behind trees. At the arrival of Curon, Philip watched those five men capture Beyarin Silversteed and his companion. The men ran off to Ves, Philip quickly gathering some guards and rushing after them. When they arrived in Ves screaming was heard inside. Ves men fighting against each other, confused at which side was right. Majistrate Alaria Al-Kassis managed to open the gate for Philip and his companions. Quickly they entered the city chasing down the foe into their guild hall. Smashing through doors, picking locks, crawling through small spaces. They were able to apprehend the traitorous “Beet Boyz”. Hearing a voice from a nearby room they burst in, finding Beyarin Silversteed and his companion bound with a goblin standing over them. Quickly Ser Charles Montagne slashed at the goblin. The goblin choosing to end his own life. The citizens of Ves cheered as “The Beet Boyz” had come to an end. A rogue group who stood against their own government. Finally gone. The city dimming down to a peaceful night, the stars sparkling in the sky. The citizens' of Ves able to sleep with relief knowing that it had all come to an end. An honorable mention to those that assisted in the retaking of Ves. 1_Language_1 1671 Share Posted July 2, 2019 “It’s still too late, the damage has been done. The bill comes due.” Matthias murmurs to himself as he peers over the missive at his fingertips, before folding it a parchment air-plane. He gently lofted it into the fireplace, his gaze getting lost in the flames. Sacking of Ves, 1711.
