ibraheemc2000 2965 Share Posted July 7, 2019 Spoiler Spoiler 'Asada al Mu'minin أسد المؤمنين Lions of The Believers “I will live as a warrior, I will remain a warrior, I will die as a warrior- while my country stands.” Overtime and time again, The 'Asada Al Mu'minin has Proven able to fulfill their duty for the protection of the people, the Caliph, and to preserve Allah’s holy name. The flame that refuses to give out has brightened once more, lighting up all of Kadarsi as a sign from God. The 'Asada Al Mu'minin have been reformed, and they intend to stay far longer than their previous legacies. The history of the 'Asada Al Mu'minin stays true and shall continue to fulfill their duties to the Caliph and Allah[God]. 'Asada Al Mu'minin, or Lion of the Believers [Simply known as the Lions of Kadarsi to most] are known as the Champions and Protectors of the Kadarsi. Those that serve to swear themselves to protect Allah’s holy name and word, the Caliph and his family, the good people of Kadarsi, and the beautiful lands that Kadarsi peacefully inhabits. Citizens of Kadarsi are able to enlist to the 'Asada Al Mu'minin and will be able to receive the benefits that entails. Those that serve the Lions of Kadarsi will be given free housing, are tax exempt, and in time will receive wages for their work. Elite soldiers of the Lions of Kadarsi will also be able to receive proper benefits in their retirement, such as farmsteads to live within. Command Structure |Complete Authority|Direct Authority|Head Officer|Officer|Knight|Squire|Sergeant|Corporal|Private| Oathed|Un-Oathed| -Caliph[Leader of the Nation]The Great Leader of The Kadarsi Caliphate. The Caliph holds the divine right to the ruling of Kadarsi and has absolute power over everything within the Caliphate. The Caliph is the one that chooses the direction of the military. His soldiers will swear their absolute loyalty and respect towards him. His involvement is generally indirect, however, and is typically handled by his Amir. -Amir[Commander] An Amir is appointed by the Caliph to run the military as the Caliphate’s Marshal. The Amir is responsible for running the military and retinues, protecting the city and civilians, protecting the Caliph, and ensuring order is kept within the land holdings. The Amir also advises the Caliph on matters of war and conflict. An Amir may hold a trial against a person if accused of a crime. If the accused is foreign and of important value to another nation, the Caliph or from The Council of The Kadarsi will hold an official trial.-Janissary Captain [Elite Captain of the Caliphs Guard] The Janissary Captain Is the head officer In the Janissary Guard, He is selected by the Caliph himself, chosen for his amazing prowess in combat and leadership. They make sure the Janissaries are kept in order and well taken care of. These men are officers and take orders directly from the Amir and Caliph. They have full authority to command and order all ranks that are Janissary and under. These men are tasked to recruit and are drillmasters. Only the Caliph himself can promote people to this rank. They order the Janissaries and Mamluks and are the highest rank one can get under the rank of Amir.-Janissary [Elite Caliph’s Guard] The Janissary are the elite guard of the Caliph and all of the lands of Kadarsi. They serve not only as the personal guard of the Caliph and the royal family but also may conduct regular city patrols as well as lead the vanguard in times of war. Becoming a Janissary requires years of training and studying. Those who hold the true virtues of an honorable and pious warrior are made into a Janissary. Janissaries are usually conscripted at their youth to allow them to train early on, expected to fulfill the requirements right as they reach adulthood, but it's not out of the ordinary if an 'Asada Al Mu’minin or Mamluk is given the opportunity to become a Janissary. These men have the authority to command others under their ranking. Only the Caliph himself can promote people to this rank. -Mamluk [Knight] The Mamluks are the most elite soldiers 'Asada Al Muminin has to offer. They’ve excelled at all their studies and have great war experience underneath their belt. The Mamluks are almost on par with the Janissaries themselves, and those that show true promise may even be offered to join the Janissaries. All soldiers of the 'Asada Al Muminin should aspire to become a Mamluk. Mamluks can order Raqib, and are considered their highers. -Ghulam[Squire] The Ghulam is the first step in becoming the faceless embodiment of the ’Asada Al Muminin. It is a path to be held in the highest of honor for the creation of the most elite of Allah’s soldiers. -Senior Raqib [Sergeant] -Junior Raqib [Sergeant] -Raqib [Sergeant] The Raqib directly commands the Areef and all below it, so by extension it holds command over the Jundi. Known for their battle prowess and skills in leadership and combat. -Senior Areef [Corporal] -Junior Areef [Corporal] -Areef [Corporal] The Areef is the first rank with authority. Holding command over the Jundi, they are known for their discipline and eagerness for orders. -Senior Jundi [Private] -Junior Jundi [Private] -Jundi [Private] The Jundi are the most devoted and steadfast common of the main force. The men are experienced through fighting battles and are well-disciplined. -Senior Muharib [Oathed] -Junior Muharib [Oathed]-Muharib [Oathed] The Muharib is the lowest military rank, with no actual authority except for the claim of being better than the untrained recruits. Once one becomes a Muharib, they are considered accepted into the military ranks and the soldier is then able to reach higher ranks.-Alwafid [Un-Oathed/Enlist] The Alwafid are the new un-oathed recruits of the 'Asada al Muminin and are required to be oathed by the set oathing standards. If the Alwafid is not oathed, they may not receive any additional ranking. Alwafid who are looking to work around the foreign tax must wait to be oathed. Sub-Ranks: Each soldier that wishes to see progression is required to take on a sub ranking, to learn new skills in order to help himself, his comrades, and his people. Though their main rank is what is important, and this is just a duty that a rank may have. -Mwahtemed (Quartermaster)The Mwahtemed is a title given to those who show the capability of doing such jobs as making sure the other soldiers are equipped enough to do their tasks. Specializing in the organization of arms, ranging from weaponry to armor, the task of the Mwahtemed is to assure that their fellow soldiers are equipped. This sub-rank is given to those who are officers, or high ranking within the 'Asada al Muminin.-Muhandis (Engineer)The Muhandis specializes in the use of military siege weaponry, such as battering rams, catapults, trebuchets, ballistae, and defenses such as trenches, walls and so forth. They are very important and almost always needed.-Jarraah (Combat Medic)The Jarraah is the lifeline of the military. They make sure the injured and wounded do not die with the use of advanced medical knowledge and are vital to the military Professions: Every 'Asada Al Muminin is required to take on a profession as well, and as they ascend the ranks they’ll find themselves learning more skills to have underneath their wing for future use. All supplies Are given to the Mwahtemed (Quartermaster) to use for the Caliphate and it’s army. -Miner (Mines ores, and stones and keeps the storage full)-Farmer (Gathers produce from the earth and keeps the storage full, supplies are given to a Mwahtemed and cook)-Lumberjack (Goes and gathers woods and keeps the storage full)-Breeder (Breeds cows, sheep, and chickens and horses and tends the animals, giving produce to cooks or bowyer/fletchers and make sure the storage is full)-Cook (Cooks food for the army, and makes sure rations are spread evenly for the troops and makes sure storage is full)-Blacksmith (Makes armor and weapons, such as swords and shields and tools such as shovels, axes, and pickaxes for the army and makes sure the storage is full)-Bowyer/Fletcher (Makes arrows and bows For the army and makes sure the storage is full)-Mason (Makes sure stones and supplies for building defenses and siege weapons in storage is full) Oaths My duty as a warrior of the 'Asada al Muminin now begins. I am the shield of Allah, Protecting His Word, His Land, His People. I am the sword of Allah, Striking down His enemies. I am the guardian of His Word, Spreading His Will and His Light. My bond is eternal. My duty as a comrade of the 'Asada al Muminin now begins. I am my brother’s shield, I shall defend him when he cannot himself. I am my brother’s sword, I shall strike for him when he cannot himself. I am the guardian of his honor, For we stand as one. I will fight alongside my brother. I will die alongside my brother. My bond is eternal.
