A quivering, furious ‘Ame sat in her room within the Arvellon manor as she dipped her quill into ink and began to write away in the dim room, taking a few hours to make as many copies as possible before setting out to place them within Irrinor, moving off to then place them within the nearby nation of Fenn, Curon, Ves, and any others her barefooted self could get too.

”Despite this mistake of a war, despite recognizing their fault, Irrinor continues in it’s self-destructive acts. Today the High Chieftain of the Irrinor City murdered a Kharajyr child in cold blood, and attempted to kill another, multiple witnesses can attest to this horrendous act, unbecoming of someone in his position. Damn the man that brings dishonor upon his people and his city, shame the man that defends the act of killing an innocent child.”

“Women..”

Avius began with a scoff and a chuckle.

“Emotional as ever.”

Umi replies to this. “Umi can attest to this. Savie is dead. Kurze is dead. Haskir is dead. Us Kha only wanted the pelt of our brethren back, now, Umi drag their bodies away.”

A certain druidic halfling from within the clinic would be slowly healing from the fight that occurred- her feet bandaged, her jaw wrapped up.. and soup next to her. She would read one of the messages, speaking awkwardly as her jaw was quite fractured

”Innocent? T’e kha tried ta’ kill me uncle.. an’ t’en t’e ‘innocent’ child.. tried ta’ drown me in t’e pond!”

The halfling would turn to the nice doctor who bandaged her up, asking for parchment. Once given, she would write down clearly a small note- asking the same nice doctor to put it on all the notices he could find!

“The ‘innocent’ kha tried to drag a small female halfling to a pond and drown her. The other kha jumped on an orc after they tried to buy a pelt from him- dishonourable acts starting a fight with an ally of a nation. They were asked to stop, and when they tried to murder the orc and the halfling- they were made to stop. Two sides to every story.”

Despite the sensationalist distortion of the story’s facts, Llenn Songbird still gets mad.

“HE CALLED HIMSELF AN HONORARY SONGBIRD!” She yells in protest, even if nobody cares.

Swept up in the moment, she sets down to write a ballad for the dead Kha with a great number of historical innacuracies.

The medic on hand recalls the tragic events of the evening. The orcs allies in question, came to Irrinor to sell their goods to the locals. Some of the khas present took great offense to the orcish shaman wearing one of their kins pelts. When confronted on this matter, the shaman was willing to barter the pelt back to them for price of 500 minas.

Originally the khas agreed to these terms and the exchange was going to be made and perhaps things were going to be settled. Yet during this exchange the khas and two of the local elves decided attack the orcs unjustly and a skirmish ensued. After several requests from other locals and finally the high chieftain to stop the attacks on the orcish allies, the high chieftain ordered that kha attackers be slain for the these violent attacks on Irrinite allies.

The cub in question, was  only slain after several warnings by the  chieftain to stop his violent assault on the half-ling druidess in his attempt to reclaim the pelt from her. While what happened was unsettling indeed. The slaying of the khas was not done with ill intent but due to their needless violence against the two orcs when more peaceful routes could have been taken.
