[!] A rendition of the Empire’s crest to reflect their sorry and clown-like performance.

Having slaughtered over 17,000 of the Empire’s men, pickings for fights had begun to grow thin. The roads were clear from conflict, governed by rules of fear and bloodshed upheld by the Terrorist Organization and their rebel allies. Tensions grew and fights among their ranks broke out as their thirst for warfare was left unsatiated. The House of Brawm took it into their own hands as the unruly and intellectually inferior Nottingham forces seemed to be incapable of finding a way to acquire their fill of warfare. And so, they found themselves facing the Empire. ..

By the orders of the Emperor and King of Haense, the army of man descended from their castles and set out on the roads of Arcas with one goal, the complete and total destruction of Nottinghamshire and their noble allies. As the forces met upon the battlefield, the men of the empire fell silent. Startled with fright as their gaze fell upon the smaller in number but utterly superior band of true warriors. Geordie and the Jester of House Brawm smiled as they looked upon the battlefield, the long knives of the lesser house would make their enemies’ courage waver and flap like their banners. It was a funny thing for them to fight such a low enemy, he who had fought Flay and foul, and in their mind’s eye, he prematurely created the enemy’s battle plan. Women cried and men gouged out their eyes in terror as they realized their mistake has been grave. Though disheartened, the Generals of the Empire urged their men to charge towards victory, but in the midst of chaos, before the Holy Legions of Nottinghamshire took a single step, an insurrection came from within. Hundreds of Empirical soldiers each decided independently and without a word of discussion that it would be better to fight with Nottingham than their own forces, knowing that their lives would have been forfeit if they did not betray their emperor. Legions were slain and war raged before Nottingham made it to the battlefield, and so they began to slowly march across the Rubern bridge as they prepared to engage in battle. The fight raged on, Brawm and Nottingham forces slayed man after man, excluding no-one. After all who still fought were killed, the turncoats looked to them for mercy, and so the Brawm dogs barked and the Nottingham rangers laughed as the traitor Imperials were cut down and brutally slaughtered on their own land. Only a few pitiful peasants fighting on behalf of Nottingham were slain by the enemy's cowardly cavalry, though those same cowards were later put to the sword as the banners of Brawm were planted amidst the waves of Imperial corpses.

A random Helenian strokes his chin, wondering why the Nottingham brigands had decided to use the old Johannian coat of arms rather than the current one.

The Empirical soldiers, true to their name, learn what it means to die through experience, rather than relying on false conceptions and logical leaps as those damned Rationalists.
