The Festival of St. Lucien

    All are invited to the first festival within the grand city of Luciensburg! Travel past the East Fleet and down the road toward Yong Ping to find the gates of the newly built city of humanity. The festival will begin with a consecration of the city’s church, followed by a brawl, drinking tourney, and several other festivities within the city’s square. Be surrounded by food, drink, and celebration as we honor St. Lucien and our founding within the lands of Almaris!

Consecration of The Church of Blessed Jon Renault

    The Bishop of Luciensburg will start the festival off with a consecration of our newly established city’s church. Under God’s gaze, we will bless our place of worship in His name. In doing so, the people of Luciensburg and their guests will honor our devout following of the Church of Canon, and have a few moments of reflection and celebration before the festivities begin.

The Brawl

    The art of proper brawling is returning to the lands of humanity with the establishment of Luciensburg. Any man or woman interested in competing in a fist fight are welcome to do so during the festival. The chessboard will temporarily be transformed into a fighting cage for the festivities, in which competitors will prove their strength and skill. The victor of this brawling tourney will receive a 200 minae prize as well as a trophy of their success in combat. We encourage people from all cities to participate- may God guide you to victory.

The Sword in the Stone

    While the joust is ongoing, a peculiar and most beautifully forged sword may be found buried deep in solid stone in the Luciensburg square. Only those with extreme precision and strength may be able to unsheathe this blade from its rocky prison. The first man or woman to successfully draw it from the stone may keep the weapon for themselves. This means that the sword in the stone is first come, first served, so make sure to arrive early. Each participant may have only one chance at drawing the blade.

The Drinking Tourney

    The last of the planned festivities will take place just outside of the brawling cage. Tables will be set up around the square, heavy with kegs of rich beer. Competitors will be served rounds of lager until only one man or woman remains capable of proving their sobriety. The victor of this simple event will receive a mina prize of 150 minae, as well as the prestige of being the heaviest weight drinker in all of Luciensburg.
