Mannyy 982 Share Posted May 24, 2021 A Public Statement To the citizens of Oren. I believe you are all owed an explanation as to what has occurred and I am here to give it. Many years ago, I myself stumbled upon a letter written to my mother. It was stashed away deep within her files, which I only procured during my time as a detective which many of you may remember. Simon makes claims that my mother, Dame Anna Henrietta is a liar, and is slandering my father, the late Baron Carrington, Charles Augustus. This is not true, my mother is not here slandering his name for my mother is an honorable woman. If any slander has occurred it has certainly been done by Simon, for there is much more than meets the eye. He was always rather troublesome as a boy, though I forgive such as he was just a boy, we all were. My family was due to purchase the Ivy Emporium as you all know, with Simon in seeming agreement that we would all manage it. Just after the opening of my Casino, Simon decided he was going to take the Emporium for himself, seemingly jealous and greedy at the idea that I was the manager of the Casino. Simon was always free to purchase any building he liked, and do whatever he wished but the Emporium was to be family owned. In the end we elected to not purchase the Emporium, realizing that at such a point the only reason to buy such would be our stubbornness. In fact, it was my dear mother Anna Henrietta who informed me that it would be a bad idea anyways, and to just let him have it. After that, I got carried away and published a statement referring to the letter I had found many years ago, and still had in my possession with me. Perhaps I acted irrationally in the situation, I expressed this to my mother and she informed me that all would be fine, it will blow over and we can speak with Simon on our own time. The amount of harassment my mother has received is absolutely deplorable. I understand I acted irrationally but it is beyond me at this point, and to be honest after seeing how Simon has behaved because of all this makes me realize I should have done this sooner. He turned on his family so fast, deeming us greedy, calling us names, essentially leaving the family, and so I recalled such a letter, and published a statement. That is the truth of the matter. Everyone is at fault for this, we have dug our own holes. Simon was caught up in greed, seeking to sneak around and exclude his family when he could have just as easily made his boutique in another building. I acted inappropriately in response, and that is on me. My mother is not solely to blame for something I took part in as well. Signed Wilhelm Spoiler Hey! So along with all this I wanted to clear anything up oocly. Seems all of this was easily brought to ooc, and no one can say that it hasnt been. Everyone a part of this is just at fault, as stated in the letter. Just because there are some pictures of belle saying things doesnt mean she is a bad guy or toxic, I have pictures I can show off too that can depict everyone involved behaving irrationally. Along with this I want to say I bear no ill will against anyone. This is minecraft, and for those of you who have let it remain irp i applaud you and thank you. If anyone has any questions or anything feel free to ask in pms. everyone is at fault here, there is no right or wrong side, thank you for listening,
zuziee 4004 Share Posted May 24, 2021 Maisie d’Arkent would snicker at the use of An Honorable Woman in her cousins statement “We will see how this all turns out at the trail.” She’d muse. “Though, he has yet to show the letter publically.”
kuerbis 3802 Share Posted May 24, 2021 "now that just sounds like you pulled it straight out of your arse," snorted Anne upon reading the next oh-so dramatic missive she read over. The woman shook her head and tossed it into the fire thereafter. "Bullshite," scoffed she in turn
Guzr 2050 Share Posted May 24, 2021 ((Anyone that takes this whole debacle into OOC is being silly, Orenian Politics RP is fun rp to partake in, and I believe JcBeno and the player that plays Anna are on good terms OOCly. Edwin reads the letter, sighing as the whole situation grew more and more out of hand. "It's time to just wait for the ruling, my friend." he told Simon. "There's no need for further drama." The boy would later meet Minuvas Melphestaus, nodding to him. "Perhaps you were right, Mister Minuvas. All of this is giving me a splitting headache. I could not let my friend's honor go tarnished, however."

aldskar 842 Share Posted May 24, 2021 From within the Novellen sat cousin across cousin. These hens with their drama! Now a new letter which claims it is from the Baron! It all gives me such a headache!" The cousin of Juliya Basrid, Natalya vas Ruthern, said quite loudly while keeping up an annoyed and confident tone in her voice. As the child talked, she'd walk to the tavern fireplace and throw away the notice of the statement and copy of the letter. After the child threw the two things into the flames, she'd walk back to their seat.
DahStalker 3692 Share Posted May 24, 2021 The author of most recent publications once more caressed her temples in dread upon seeing a new missive sent out, nostrils flaring as she huffed out in laughter. "Beryl and his father were adopted, yet he was not thrown to the streets. They speak of the Simon boy taking the Emporium for himself is greed when these fake-Carrington's are buying out all these commercial buildings and leaving smaller businesses to suffer. What a painstaking attempt at a stab back. Dreadful, really."
