Repentance for the Imperial Constabulary

Greetings citizens of Oren.

I would like to formally introduce myself as Chief Commissioner James Madron. Most of our loyal orenians see the Imperial Constabulary as a group of fools due to our past actions that haven’t gone without consequences. As we welcome a new generation of agents they still suffer the pasts mistakes. To prevent that, I James Madron, humbly apologize on behalf of the entire Imperial Bureau of Investigations with deepest regret for our former behavior.

As we move on to the upcoming generations I promise that we will follow through with all of our positions properly and thoroughly. We hope that you can take this into consideration and forgive our past acts.

With Regards,

James Madron

“As Chief Detective, I would like to formally apologise for any failings of the investigative branch, especially any that have happened while I have held my office- Chief Detective Duncan the fearsome”

A faint grin formed from beneath Elsil'Ceru's yellow bandana. "Let us see if they can uphold such a promise. Doubtful."

Joseph Brandt threw an old cabbage at the front door of the MoJ building on his way home to his barracks in Bastion, the half rotten veg exploding into pieces against the wood and sliding down to attract all manner of vermin to the building.

He spit on the floor for good measure.

A certain veteran of the MRA begins to smile and almost cough out a laugh upon reading the missive at his desk.  His aging hands sliding the missive onto the slowly growing pile right in the corner.  His mind wonders, is this serious or just a simple way to hide their past mistakes?  Regardless he stays seated, wondering if he should read over the missive again just in case.

"Look at this!  They can't be serious can they?  There is nothing left to salvage of the Ministry... Unless of course the Inspector General returns."

Rokossovsky would remark to himself quietly.  He slid a small map over to his desk and went back to work, planning.

Charles Darkwood gazed upon the missive, an unsatisfied frown flushing over him. "Correct me if I am wrong but...Duncan has been incredibly inactive within the Constabulary. Even my report to the Inspector-General about his conduct or well...relations with elves was ignored." He sighed, tucking the paper away under a multitude of others.

"A empty atonement, for an empty agency. True repentance would have the corruption, incompetence, and gluttony slew from the Constabularies decrepit corpse that it inhabits." The Handia would state, using the missive to fuel his fire-place.

Detective Bernat de Vesne still occasionally feels the dark elf woman invading his personal space.
