[!] Within the Alstreim Manor, daylight breaking into the windows, the cries of their heir could be heard from within its proud halls. The young heir's cries were boisterous and robust, echoing to a tearful Nikita and enthusiastic midwives, who had washed and swaddled the petite fair babe to meet his parents for the first time. Big dusty azure eyes stared up into his mother’s exhausted blue eyes, her hand grasping onto his tiny fingers, almost as if they would break at any second. Her lips settled into a smile, breathy and hushed words spoken like a promise. "Vy, my dear, from this day forward will be named Heinrich Franz von Alstreim. A proud, powerful name and vy will do many glorious things."

Beloved Friends, Family and Savoyards,

It is with great joy that we formally announce the birth of our first child on the 12th of Horen’s Calling, 1842, a son and heir of prominent prestige to our royal legacy, Heinrich Franz von Alstreim.

Translated to the languages of the Realm:

Common: Henry Francis

High Imperial: Henricus Franciscus

Waldenian: Heinrich Franz

Raev Dialect: Henrik Franz

Savoyard: Enrico Francesco

Selecting the name which he would bear for a lifetime was no light decision. Considering the storied lineages of our ancestors and those loyal friends and benefactors to our family, our wish has been to invoke this tradition in choosing two first given names of good repute: Heinrich, after a steadfast ally of the House of Alstreim, the old heir to the Imperial heritage of Alstion, Henry Stephen; Franz, after the Landgravine’s father, the honorable Duke of Adria, Franz Nikolai, and those scions of his Tuvyic lineage of the same name.

It is thus that on this date, the 7th of Owyn’s Flame, 1842, the Household of Alstreim encourages the citizens of Savoy to celebrate with us and before the eyes of God the parturition of our heir, and witness the baptism our tiny babe so that he may be inducted into our faith as is the duty of all Canonist heirs. Afterwards, festivities shall be held in the tavern of San Luciano so we may drink our fill for the prosperity of Alstreim and Savoy. All drinks shall be paid by the Household.

Let us rejoice!

HIS EXCELLENCY, Sir Ulrich Lothar of the House of Alstreim, Grand Knight of Savoy, Prince of Merryweather and the Rhine, Landgrave of Alstreim, Administrator of Trabant, Blood-Raven of Lorraine

HER EXCELLENCY, Nikita Averilya of the House of Alstreim, Princess-Consort of Merryweather and the Rhine, Landgravine of Alstreim, Ciambellana of Palazzo Aggrade

[!] A tiny, black smudge of ink sits beneath the signatures, presumably a thumbprint - under it written a name in the same style of blackletter as that of Nikita:

"Some are born luckier than others," King Sigismund III intoned with a bitter smile as this piece of news wound up in his pile of foreign reports and correspondence. He turned to the far end of the room, where a candlelit shrine stood in memory of his own newborn, who had lived for seven minutes. "Eh, Edvard?"
