The Bleeding Fields

 

 

It had been over a month since the first spotting of trolls in Hanseti. Men patrolled the street at night, and women locked their doors and shutters, hiding their children in the villages from the men in dark robes that walked the roads. People, especially those isolated, had begun disappearing, leading to a noticeable dip in the local population of the outlying villages. 

 

It had come to the point where the cultists were desperate, having to go into the city to find new blood to feed their large "friends". Multiple groups invaded the lair, which had now been explored multiple times, but the source of the chaos seemed to repel them all back. First, a group of adventurers came together, freeing an ancient evil held deep within the dungeon on a black throne. Despite killing a troll within the dungeon, the dark evil proved a far greater threat. Then, the Sons of Tylos delved deep into the underground fortress, only to be forced into retreat.

 

Now, the cultists and trolls of the Whispering Hallows have become emboldened, increasing their numbers and venturing further south, into Oren, for new blood. Will they remain unchecked? Time will tell.
