Many years ago, the streets of Yong Ping thrived, occupied by both citizens and visitors alike. Sadly, this golden age is rapidly dwindling into naught but a memory of the past. Now a mere ghost town, the Jade State of Yong Ping has found itself weakened and fading into irrelevancy.

That is where I come in, with a proposition of a lifetime. Heed my words meticulously, as I will not repeat myself.

The proposal: The Jade State of Yong Ping will pledge itself as a tributary state beneath the esteemed Company of the Rustlers. The aforementioned state will provide a yearly payment of 100 minas to Rustler Boss Elsil’Ceru. In exchange for such a fee, the Rustlers will pledge to refrain from violence against Yong Ping and its people, and additionally, will be at the disposal of the Yong Ping government to be summoned for military assistance when needed.

Do not pass up on this incredible opportunity, or the consequences will be dire. You have one Elven Week.

SIGNED,

Elsil’Ceru, Rustler Boss

Emiel scanned over the ultimatum, then reaching for a blank piece of parchment, writing;

"Dear Yong Ping, proclaim I, Emiel de Flieve of Blackvale a samurai & noble warrior and I pledge to you my sword and moustache in defence of your state. XOXO."

Then the human stamped it with his own van Aert seal, rolling the letter up neatly and sending it off by the talons of his falcon, departing from the windowsill of the ivory castle toward whomever sat upon the throne of Yong Ping.

"Cringe!" roared out a certain Rozanian man who had faced the Rustlers four times before and slain them all the same!

((OOC: wtf. seems similar to the ferymen relationship with elysium, except they just raid a bunch. Rustlers could bring some good activity to yp but i mean would they fight for yp if they needed to or would they still be loyal to urguan?))

"If it is a ghost town as you have mentioned how are you expecting to inflict violence on a people that are not there?" questioned James Fisher upon reading the ultimatum "I'd think you'd have better luck simply asking for a lump sum of mina instead of looking towards generating an income from a peoples you consider to not exist."

When the Vortician Monarch had gotten wind of the news she spat the tea she was drinking out as she couldn't hold down her laughter "They'd have to be fools to even consider this!" The dark elven woman then got up so she could clean up the tea mist that had been created, a smile of disbelief left to linger on her face
