REPORT: THE HOU-ZI PLAGUE

PUBLISHED BY THE WAR SCIENCE NATION OF KRUGMAR

ENTRY AZH -

Three warriors scientists (Two goblins, one orc) of the War Nation of Krugmar were dispatched to the borders of Krugmar to begin research. The scientists could not find any individuals for interrogation questioning. The initial mission was changed to recon and samples of local flora and fauna were taken. Painted imagery of samples of local species are found in IMAGERY FILES AZH. Pink petals were removed from the ground and placed into storage for testing. One goblin sampled a petal through taste and was put into quarantine. A snake was found on site, biting the last remaining goblin of DISPATCH AZH. This goblin passed from the poison before being able to seek proper medical treatment.

ENTRY DUB -

The goblin in quarantine began to show various symptoms. After three hours, the goblin began to cough. Within six hours, the goblin began to fall asleep. As the goblin fell unconscious, she was put into PROCEDURE LEYD and her body was disposed of in a makeshift fire on the outskirts of Field Base Scorthuz. All testing of the pink petals on orcs has been terminated. Further testing is required on Kha. Kha to be found shortly. 

 

ENTRY GAHK - 

Another group of warriors scientists (four goblins, five orcs) were dispatched to the roads of Yong Ping. Their mission was to detain politely stop any travelers and take them to Field Base Scorthuz. Two hours after deployment, the goblins returned with minimum wounds and three prisoners test subjects. Individual reports for each test subject can be found below. The orcs returned with fresh containers of pink petals.

 

SUBJECT AZH - MALE, 6 FOOT, 220 CACTUS POUNDS, BLACK HAIR, GREEN EYES, SCARRING ALONG LEFT EYE AND JAWLINE

Subject Azh was strapped down to a chair for an interview in Testing Room Gahk. No knowledge could be gathered from individual. Subject would not stop screaming. Test subject believed to be in pain, tongue removed to help with pain relief. Subject stopped moving shortly after. Death marked as natural causes.

 

SUBJECT DUB - FEMALE, 5 FOOT 5 INCHES, 140 CACTUS POUNDS, BLONDE HAIR, BLUE EYES, NO NOTICABLE TRAITS

Subject Dub was placed into Testing Room Futh for extreme treatment after failure of Subject Azh. Subject attempted to attack torturer scientist on site. Additional security was deployed to the room. Scientist was approved to treat the subject as hostile. Dagger utilized to remove any 'unnecessary' limbs. Three fingers were removed as questioning began. Subject was questioned about the source of Yong Ping and close ties to Hou-zi. Subject refused to respond. Five additional fingers were removed before Subject began to agree with scientist. Subject confirmed that the Leader of Yong Ping is the grandchild of the Hou-zi. Subject would not stop screaming yes after scientist left the Testing Room. Subject left gagged.

 

SUBJECT GAHK - UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN

Subject Gahk was in Dissection Room Dub. When asked about being a descendant of the Hou-zi, subject began to panic. Subject terminated immediately via crossbow bolt to the skull. All organs removed and jarred. Skin removed and sent to witch doctors for further testing. Remaining corpse sent to incinerator. 

 

Witch doctors notified on site scientists that possible breeding with monkeys could have occurred. More subjects required for verification.

 

ENTRY FUTH -

Additional scientists deployed with goal of twenty test subjects. Only eighteen gathered. All subjects terminated on site at Field Base Scorthuz for testing. All subjects tested positive for monkey symptoms. Similar traits among the test subjects were an enlarged liver, pointed ears, and pointed teeth. One scientist suffered a bite wound from the test subjects. Orc was detained and quarantined for twenty-four cactus hours before being released to the Starguzh. Mission to gather test subjects suspended until further notice. Further testing regarding pink petals approved. 

 

ANALYSIS -

After extensive testing of local population of the Yong Ping area, multiple assumptions have been confirmed.

 

Regarding the pink petals -

All pink petals have been determined to be a poison farmed by the locals of Yong Ping. Locals are deemed to be immune to the poison while others are highly susceptible. Common symptoms of those exposed to the poison are complaining of things tasting like teeth and when consumed in massive quantities a cough is developed. Those who are exposed to the pink petals must be quarantined and treated with Protocol [REDACTED].

 

Regarding the people of Yong Ping -

The citizens of Yong Ping have been confirmed to be the hybrid descendants of the Hou-zi. Soldiers are to be dispatched to the borders of Yong Ping to begin extermination before the cursed plague can spread. Those who attempt to aid Yong Ping are to be considered conspirators with cross-breeding beasts. Additional soldiers requested from [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and [REDACTED]. The extermination of Hou-zi descendants is determined to be a MEDIUM CLASS THREAT. Further procedures required within three cactus weeks to maintain threat level. On site testing utilizing PROTCOL FREYGOTH can confirm Yong Ping Residency.
