I. FOREWORD

 

During the year 1856, a most violent and wretched attack against the Empire took place. After being lured into Sedan by Argus Romstun, the illustrious Duke of Cathalon, Helton Helvets, was violently murdered in the fallen, and previously standing, Sedanian capital.

202.04B - Where an individual intentionally and with premeditation causes the death of another, this shall be murder in the first degree, a felony.  

 

204.01 - Treason and Sedition Act (1751): On Treason 

 

204.01A - Where an individual commits acts with the intent to compromise the integrity of the Crown and its constituent institutions by waging insurrection and seeking the destruction of the Imperial State by impugning the character and person of the Crown through subversive means such as collusion with enemy entities and actors against the State, this shall be the crime of treason.

202.02C - Where an individual intentionally commits upon another an act of unlawful violence which brings about permanent injury, this shall be battery of the first degree, a felony.

III. THE TRIAL

 

By order of the Imperial Inquisition according to the authority of His Imperial Majesty, Argus Romstun was hereby ordered to appear before an Inquisition tribunal and stand trial for charges related to the conspiracy and carrying out of the plot to murder Duke Helton Helvets of Cathalon. After failing to show at the agreed time of trial, Argus Romstun has been found guilty on all charges.

Let it be known that the Imperial Crown and his offices within the Council of State do not look lightly upon the murder of one of his Peers. Neither do we look lightly upon the crime of murder against anyone who belongs to the Empire. Therefore we declare:

 

For his crimes against the Holy Orenian Empire, Argus Romstun shall be arrested on sight and brought before the Crown for punishment. If He is found to try and flee or have fled the borders of the Holy Orenian Empire, Argus Romstun is to be killed on sight by order of the Imperial Crown and Inquisitor-General.
