Treaty?

*notes suddenly appear in a flash of fire all around Oren written in shining blue ink*

I spoke with men of Oren today who have considered a treaty with the Undead. If this is true let us speak with the King concerning this. They agreed to the following:

1. They shall no longer attack the Undead or any servants of Iblees

2. They shall allow them to pass freely throughout the nation of Oren

3. They shall protect us when we are in their borders a if we were members of the Nation

In return for this we will possibly agree to the following:

1. Undead will stop attacking the Nation of Oren

2. Undead will not kill members of the Nation of Oren

These may change if we are attacked or harmed in any way with punishments including:

1. Imprisonment

2. Banishment

3. Outright Execution

4. Destruction of the person's home or property

5. Torture

6. Removal temporarily to the Nether for "rehabilitation"

If these are agreed to by the King of Oren Edmund Sheffield then the treaty will be valid.

We also want gold in payment for any protection we give ever to a civilian of Oren.

If this is false well then nothing will change. Iblees will continue to grow and Oren will face war. . .

Signed Councilor Roy Malstar

What? Oren betraying the rest of Aegis? These are troubling times... I fear for Oren if they fall to such soothsayers as the undead.

*begins to read the blue writing*

*Robin says as he walks from the writing*

"Haha! this is but the talk of a mad man. Why would this be even remotely true, there is no such treaty and if there was the King would spit upon it. Oren is not weak, we need no pitiful alliance with the undead scum."

((Now THIS would be something.))

Lucas laughs a little as he finishes the note thinking to himself "Oh my...selling out the rest of the lands to temporarily defend themselves...it's a good move on the behalf of the undead, they gain power and land while everyone cries out for Oren to help them and once they are all done for, the humans die too...it's like they fall for every scheme the undead present. Lets see how this ends."

can i just point out that nothing has been agreed to yet, the man who he spoke to has no authority to negotiate on the nations behalf, for now all that has been said is that the king will be informed that the undead claim to want peace, what happens then is his desision. Oren hasn't betrayed the rest of the Agies

This is a lie .. they offered peace to the town of snowyfields.. then broke it and attacked

The same for Alstion

I will sheath my blade for now but nothing good can come of this

Delaselva's eyebrows squint hard at the blue writing as he reads it.

I wouldn't put it past those fools in Oren. They're obviously not capable or willing to actually FIGHT the undead; so why not join them? A little temporary safety in exchange for their safety, liberty, and every single thing that they hold dear is such a reasonable move right? Cowards and fools I say!

((You recall completely wrong. We never tried to make a treaty. ))

I stand completely against this treaty. I refused to let those who died fighting the undead die I'n vain. They would walk our streets and find our flaws and wait until we are at our weakest. Why help them take put the rest of Aegis then finally leave Oren helpless, people don't understand what the undead are like at heart. They mean no peace, they just want the advantage that if we accept we will grant them. Shame on those who are with this treaty and shame on those who think us humans are that low.

For the sake of Aegis I hope the King makes the right choice, for I will struggle to watch my friends die at our feet as we watch on hopeless.

Long Live Aegis

*Reads the Blue writing. As soon as he is finished he walks off*

*Returns with a quill that is dripping with black ink and writes over the blue text, in large clear letters.*

*Places this note on a nearby wall*

Disregard this offer.

Trusting the undead is akin to guiding an enemy's blade to ones own jugular.
