Bad things happen to the people you love,

And you find yourself praying to the heaven above.

As night befell the capital city of Atrus, a noblewoman of House Mösu stands slowly from her bed and moves to don a jet-black robe around her dark clothing. Opening a drawer, she takes a hand-mirror before meandering towards her small, wall-bound mirror. Staring into it at herself, her arms begin to violently shake through some alien influence.. This shaking lasted but a few moments, subsiding gradually as a black, viscous aura appeared around the woman's shoulders.. The achromatic aura was akin to tar or molasses, yet one could see through it. It flowed down her arms steadily, reaching the lowest point of her arms and dripping off.. The product that dripped from her arm dissipated, only to reappear upon her shoulders once more.

The mage raises her free hand to her hair, looking into the wall-bound mirror. The thick aura swiftly moves itself from dribbling down her arm to engulfing the amount of hair of which she could see. Though it seemed as if it should move the hair, the incorporeal aura did nothing of the such.. Instead laying still, the woman's fingers slightly trembling as she held the aura there. Not just a few seconds after, the hair which was engulfed in the woman's aura shifted: Once a deep brown colour, now a light blonde, though the back of her hair remained the same. Raising the hand mirror behind her head, angling it slightly, she allows her aura to flow from the coloured hair to her still-brown hair. Engorging the brown hair on the back of her head which she could view on the wall-bound mirror, through her handheld mirror. Repeating the process, soon, her hair had become fully lightly blonde.

A few steps soon after back to her bedside, her hand-held mirror was replaced into its drawer and a candle-snuff was produced from inside of one of the candle-holds upon the walls. The sorceress allows her connection to dissipate as she walks around the room, snuffing out the flames of each candle in the room. She then places the candle snuff down carefully and makes her way to the door of their small keep of the Atrus palace.

A slight hesitance washes over the woman as she reaches for the handle of the exit, she falters. Turning back, quickly up the stairs.. A pendant now in her hands and being tied around her neck, a rich-blue pendant. The pendant itself seemed old, though was a rather nice piece of jewelry.. Of course, she makes he way downstairs again and the door is thrust open and she slips out into the night. She carries a small ball of light brought to her via housemagery, not very bright, though it allows her to see. As she reaches the citizen's gates, her hand trembles, unlocking the doors and passing through, swiftly making her way out of the city for one of the last times, and into the cold desert.

The woman remains donned with her black robe as she leads along her horse via its reigns, seemingly named 'Horse'. She puts back the hood, staring on at the town she had happened across.. Her new home, seemingly. Birds chirp above, and she peers at a castle atop a hill in ruins. The town bustles with activity, those of citizens, the clergy, as well as the military. A town quite similar of her home many years ago, Arichsdorf.

The new woman saunters through the streets. She views those having conversations with friends, laughing, children playing games.. Her robe drags across the ground, conflicting with the paleness of her skin and the light of her hair. She takes it off, wrapping it up in her arms as she moves to find one who can help her become acquainted with the lands..
