As King Georg ascends to take the Crown, he seeks to form with him a new government, built upon new principles. Immense gratitude is extended towards those who have sat upon the Council of King Karl III, and to those who have chosen to continue upon King Georg’s Council.

The Aulic Council, as established herein, is the King’s Advisory Council, which shall be headed by the Lord Palatine, the only permanent member of the Council. All other positions within are summoned by their own merit by the Will of the Crown, under the day to day management of the Palatine. These positions which shall be summoned to the Aulic Council are done so with basis to the merit of the position, as well as the competency, loyalty, and perseverance of those who hold the aforementioned positions. Furthermore, new positions may be summoned to the Aulic Council by the Will of the Crown, and no position, except the Lord Palatine, is guaranteed a seat.

The King wishes to give insight into the Aulic Council, its positions and those who hold them, as well as the duties of these people. Therefore, this document is published to alleviate misconceptions of the government.

THE CROWN

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, GEORG SIGMUND, KING OF HANSETI AND RUSKA

AS

THE MONARCH

Born as the eldest son to King Karl III and Queen Amadea of Susa, Georg grew up during a period of foreign tension and turmoil as his father carefully manoeuvred the cession of the Silver Isles from the Kingdom of Oren to the Dual Monarchy. Once stability had been returned to Almaris, he engaged in a prosperous childhood.

A friend to many during his youth, the King was mainly gripped by histories, politics, the arts, and chivalry. He penned alongside his friend, Aleksandr var Ruthern, a study on the Etiquette and Traditions of the Joust, and would be appointed Lord Speaker in 444 E.S. by his father per his own request, so that he may experience the Royal Duma and take into account these experiences for reforms during his reign.

A frequent traveller as well, the King finds great joy in witnessing other parts of the world, and therefore frequently during his time as Grand Prince accompanied foreign diplomats, especially to the Principality of Celia’nor.

A new page turns in the book of Haense as King Georg takes the burden of the Crown upon himself. The new King looks to both the future and the past, as he seeks to incorporate that which blessed our prior generations with that which may bless the coming generations. Reform is coming.

HER ROYAL MAJESTY, ESFIR AMELYA, QUEEN OF HAENSE

AS

THE CONSORT

4Hcfe-QrsErhNhiA3OTyxdwiYF-gOro0fIRcnkCNYK9Ul_giJyumnT9UGoN3kXj4-0TqE0RsZp8GAGx49XzgDZgzjxoNHHj9bEOB6kzMQsgcCD3uPm4nWM0p12_OtmfTJZR27_UAIQak41mD0US33saPk_vu8jpILOMjyVKDFIpUpE7ZrFLyl6Ksy01Ebg9TP3O2rNj8J7sknA1kmFbQ6egoo56TqDpEFMD4ASCiDrUXMlPilsqZHLEKMfm3qYLDk7B9UQtNrU5yQhBI_WWyVHInm7GpbkV5HTceX0zRDxnvssVQv0g9oo_FaWIB3Rr5nmcjmPC1CmWmz57j9LDnkyTK1KxQlN4Lore25tFKauyMrwfkmpji1MlbFcXQ

Born as the eldest triplet of Count Nikolai of Jerovitz and Countess Esmée, and therefore their heir, she was raised for a future as the Countess of Jerovitz and leadership of one of Haense’s older nobility and more prominent Houses. She had been a close friend of King Georg during their childhood, which blossomed in their late teens, with the two being wed after an extensive courtship in 455 E.S.

Unlike most of her predecessors, the Queen found herself more taken with matters of diplomacy than of the Courts, and she worked diligently within the Office of the Aulic Envoy, where she was appointed as Aulic Envoy in 446 E.S. She now, however, turns her attention to caretaking a developing new concept of Royal Court, while still maintaining her interest in diplomacy.

THE AULIC COUNCIL

“Va Eyvize ve Krawn.”

‘To Advise the Crown.’

The Aulic Council (New Marian: EUYLIK TRELKA), or officially known as the AULIC COUNCIL AND PRIVY COUNCIL OF THE CROWN, shall be composed of the King’s the most trusted advisors, and heads of prominent institutions within the Realm, to be summoned to sit on the Council by will of the Crown. The Aulic Council holds authority over various matters of the Realm, historically it has held authority over the legislature, military, law, interior affairs, treasury, and foreign affairs, only second to the Authority of the Crown.

The guiding principles of King Georg is to create an Aulic Council which, in its nature is fluid, where no position is guaranteed to sit upon the Aulic Council, but rather summoned by the Will of the Crown, depending on the merit of the individual institution and its head. Therefore, none of the historical Aulic Council positions of Speaker, Treasurer, Envoy, etcetera, are not guaranteed a seat upon the Aulic Council by virtue of their position, but rather by their own merit.

As per tradition, the Aulic Councillors shall be distinguished by unique Bulavas forged using different materials to symbolise where their authority reaches in the Kingdom. The reign of King Petyr I saw the creation of the Lord Palatine, the only permanent member of the Aulic Council, and the forging of the Golden Bulava. Since then, various positions have come and gone during the flourishing Aulic Councils of Monarchs. Presented below are those who currently sit upon the Aulic Council of the reigning monarch, Georg.
