exogens 934 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Spoiler https://youtu.be/jOTeBVtlnXU As written by the Count of L’Arbre d'Or BY THE BLOOD: OBEISANCE Anno Domini, 1920 To the Citizens of the United Kingdom of Aaun, It pains me to write such a missive regarding my own kin. I have always taught my children amiability and morals, yet those whom this letter regards have descended into the path of madness. Nothing can rescue my deranged girl–not love, not even family. Recent events have come to my attention, revealing the true nature of these girls. Time after time through their own volition, they fail to represent their family in a virtuous light; intending rather to tear all semblances of honor and prestige of the d’Arbre family - one I worked from the very ground. In response to these affairs, action must be taken and I will handle the punishment. Shunning these girls as they have done their family. I, Emir, Count of l'Arbre d'Or, commonly known as Pacidia disinherit my daughter: Blanca from all wealth and land that I worked hard for all my life for the following reasons: Lack of responsibilities shown, despite being the second eldest child of the Count and the Late Countess, Alizee d’Abbassia Blatant disrespectful attitude to the Count, her Father, despite all the sacrifices were done Name-calling and tainting the reputation of those innocent, this being Countess Sierra. A sociopath, and danger to one’s reputation as a representative. Laetitia, let this be your one and final warning. I am aware of you conspiring to defame your own family name. To the readers, know that it is not to be taken lightly–it is an extreme that has to occur, for the safety of the minds of the rest of my children. This letter shall be a warning to all my kin who wish to taint my honor and the bloodline I promised to save many decades ago. Those who are not related to my family have no power to change my mind or decide on my behalf, and those who are persistent to delve into matters in which they have not been involved will meet appropriate punishment–by law and faith. Only great and long efforts shall be the key to forgiveness, as this is nothing but a lesson to all my kin. LET THIS BE THE FINAL WARNING, The Right Honourable, Sir Emir of the House D’Arbre, Count of Pacidia, Viscount of Merville, Baron of Endor, The Destructor of Horrors Master of Logistics and Rear-Admiral of The Aaunic Royal Navy The Grandmaster of the Nexus
EmiliainWonderland 2311 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Blanca yawned at the missive as it finally reached her. "Good thing I never wanted to inherit any of the things an abusive father would've ever given me. Enjoy your new life with your Hyspian wife and new kids Emir, could not be happier to be free of any and all familial ties with that man." She remembers fondly the time she was upset with her father for marrying at random and when she explained her anger, he hit her. What a time!
kennyr 94 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Clack! Clack! Roxana paced down the hall of Blanca's bedchamber, pounding the door to no avail. "Blanca, prove thy last bearings of innocence. Profess that it was Laetitia. Say that her Mother's taint spread from her to you. Please chère!"
Gandhi 3225 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Sir Ludolf Barclay wrote Emir a little letter wishing his family the best. "Good on Emir, one shouldn't let the honor of his wife be brought into question." He'd muse.

comatoseprincess 507 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Sierra read the missive as the man showed it to her, however she did not seem too happy with it, "Did it have to come to this..? It's a shame she had to go and call me and my daughter all those horrid names. I am sorry that they ended up like this." She told the man, offering him a reassuring smile as she watched him hold their newborn daughter. ( @exoo )

The man stated with a huff "Hopefully she would return to her senses one day.."
Phoebe202 1057 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Poor Laetitia would be sheltered from this news by her kin at Pompourelia, where she resided while recovering from her recent heart attack... which was worsened by Emir's initial refusal to treat her, given his insistence she was 'faking for attention'! "I am lucky to have your support, Oncle Franz... you have always been the picture of what I thought a father should be." She commented to the titular Viscount, "Without you, I would surely be dead by now."@Matheaww
Songwitch 1835 Share Posted April 19, 2023 An old baroness long since forgotten--thought to have been lost in the inbetween--spun the wheel. Her spindle, black and rusted, began to twist; to warp and weft to make a new thread. One that draws the past's yarn repeating the same way as it had once begun; history repeats itself. "Mine blood, tarnished." CLICK! "Cursed in woe and betrayal; shame and idiocy." Soon a clump of crimson-stained wool formed at the end of the tool's sharp pin. "It is known." Cheese 8899 Share Posted April 19, 2023 Upon recieving the missive, Juniper took a sip from her vodka, and looked over the words as if it were the morning paper. "This will be funny..." She mumbled to no one in particular.
marikandaperc 1818 Share Posted April 19, 2023 The rat child of the Hyspian harlot snickered menacingly to herself from the tulip garden of Pacida, hoping that after stealing Blanca's father and shoes, she could go on to steal her room too.
