The claim that the Temp Map was entirely made by LOTC outside of the two town assets ("This map was built by ST Builders outside of those two assets") is false.

 

The massive lanterns used multiple times in the Temp Map are also straight from TrixyBlox. Watch him build it here:

This is not enough individual credit given to the ONE BUILDER who made THREE different assets used in the Temp Map. I hope this server will provide more credit to outside builders in the future.

Y'all need to get a grip. The map was paid for and that gives them the right to use it, get over it.

Not necessarily, his other builds have explicit writing saying you can't (ultimate survival world). We don't entirely know what the deal is with this.

isnt the minecraft eula mostly you cant have pay to win assets on servers? thats why mineplex had to be shut down? also im sure you have heard of paid maps on java edition by the creators of the minecraft championship group or hell even bedrocks store, so stop boot licking for the staff team

Ain't nobody licking boot for the staff team. 

 

Get your terminology straight here. Just because something isn't morally right does not make it outright illegal. The EULA explicitly states that anything public made with using their services is free to use, that would definitely be including maps. The case is a little different for coding etc, skins, other art forms.

when you publish something you created in minecraft you agree and accept what is written in the EULA

I think that all instances of Copyright Law should be handled through trial by combat to the death. Whoever wins the fight is given ownership of the copyright. It isn't like the dead will have much use for it anyway.

Yes, if you read the spoiler part it exactly states that you are allowed to use any creation of another person, let alone using something you paid for

by their right to use the content of the creator, they give the right to other players to use and modify it, i dont see where you're coming from here

they also stated this

"Please think carefully before you make any content available, because it may be made public and might even be used by other people in a way you don't like."
