It was the starry nights and spray of sea salt air which allowed time to feel stagnant over the many months. Pains and aches came and went yet it was the consistency of the air and the sky itself which maintained its repetition. Months of seclusion and worry, followed by the sudden burst of life felt like a shock of cold saltwater mixed with the emotions of joy and love felt like an enigma, although it seemed to be one more consistent fact that remained.
