Mors Stupebit.
Death shall be astonished.
 

 

Talinn was dead. Witnessed by many, he was burned at the pyre for affiliating with Darkspawn, and so he perished. No monk came for his remains, his soul departed to a realm beyond our understanding, the Heith-Hedran. There, he witnessed many horrors, many of the world's worst. Many times he did wish his sight be gone, but he did not act upon it. Not until he saw his father rotting away in a corner, where he rightfully belonged. Though, after witnessing all that which the wicked man had gone through, he had enough.

"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!"
His voice rung out in that barren wasteland of suffering souls, and with the despair of witnessing such horrid fates, he tore his own eyes out, trying to avoid these horrors as best as he could, yet the voices still haunted him. Though, it was not long after that he found himself lifted from that wasteland, and brought back to the confines of Eos, and there he lay on the table in the temple. Slowly, the realization overtook him, for he could not change his fate now, though his fate indeed changed him. He had no eyes.

Soon, a deep depression overtook the man, regret filling his mind. Yet, he was soon overcame with the horrors that he had witnessed, and without sight, the only things floating before him were those terrifying creatures he saw there.

Talinn did, in fact, die. And so, a new man was born.
Mikhail was his name, and he was Divine.
