From the dawn of Balian’s creation, the country and its people have been faced with adversity – yet, never, have they wavered. When House Galbraith broke off following Acre’s Rebellion and fled to the South, it pledged its fealty to the then Grand Duke and shed its title of Duke in order to join Balian. When Lucius died, it was then on Carles’ shoulders to rebuild, and rebuild he did.

Regardless of controversies, Baron Carles Galbraith was a prominent statesman and a valiant commander in the Armada who had an entire crew to his name – a fantastic sailor, as well.

It is with a heavy heart we must announce the passing of Baron Carles Galbraith, Son of Lucius. Early in the morning of the 3rd of Godfrey’s Triumph he, and a small number of men, went out to sea in hopes to fell a great serpentine beast in the waters, and the ship was later found wrecked ashore on the Balianese coast with only a single, maimed, survivor. Those of the Baronial family shall enter a period of grief to mourn Carles, donning black garb for the rest of this Saint’s week.

Ipera Alexandra Galbraith, couldn't imagine how sad that her sister can be. Never in the million years, she could imagine this. She just sits in the bedroom where her and her sister shared, waiting for something to happen.
