Whats sad is you taking shots at a community even in your leaving post. Truth of the matter is that the Vale didn't do anything to you other than RP their characters. If you are still so upset over consequences because of your character's actions and people RPing their characters how they would have dealt with it, then yes you should definitely get away from the server. I hope you are able to become an artist and deal with your issues. But I suggest stop going after people who roleplayed.

• while it's great lotc has moved away from the bad behaviors it once harboured, be wary of cancel culture overtaking you. if your first reaction is outrage, you're not using your critical thinking skills.
• itdontmatta is the last good admin left.
• don't trust the Vale. the ones who smile the warmest are the ones to steal the most from you.

LotC's only good as a hobby, never let it get in the way of beneficial opportunities.  I'm also sorry about your experience with The Vale, I've heard far too many unpleasant experiences with the gatekeeping an cult-like mindset of that community [with ooc targeting, ooc blacklisting, and transphobia] - surprises me on how many people still stick around there.
