OOC:

Spoiler

I Decided to change the trials due to the lack of tradition and culture following of todays honorarys. In the past Honorarys were made through the snaga system which I took heavy inspiration from.

ON THE HONORARY STATUS

Krimpgoth Grimruk’Lur

Drums call upon you blessed child. Your soul awaits to join its brothers, to start its journey to the Stargush’Stroh.

Will you follow?

TRIALS

“Honor”

          “Culture”

                     “Tradition”

The descendant on the path will choose a clan to assign themselves to. The clan will put them to work, so their time in the Horde will not be left to waste. The Lurs will put one on the path to hunting and collecting leather. Yars will put one on the path to take care of the library or write books and keep their secrets.

The one on the path will continue this trial until the end of their journey.

“Time”

       “Knowledge”

                     “Acceptance”

The next step will be to spend time with the Orcs within the capital for at least 12 years. This step is to ensure the descendant on the path understands the culture and gets to know his or her soon to be brethren. The descendant will not be seen as an honorary but as a guest. They will be respected by the Orcs as guests of their respective clans during their stay. During these 12 weeks, the one on the path is expected to follow the culture of the Orcs, yet still not have the permission to speak blah.

 “Glory”

         “Victory”

                    “Proof”

The final and last step will be to gain a great feat that will keep their name within Orcish history.

The feat is to be of  great size. Like that of a massive and difficult beast or a leading victory in battle.

This feat will have to be witnessed by other Orcs, and a trophy is to be taken.

Upon bringing the trophy, the ritual will begin. The honorary’s clan will be brought together, and the honorary will be forced to eat the heart of their own race to leave their old self behind. The honorary will carry their clan's name at all times and abandon their past culture completely. The sacrifice is not required to be gained by the honorary.

CULTURE

The honorary will follow their clan's culture and the Orcs general behavior. They will abandon all connections to their past, including their name, surname, and identity. Throughout their lives they will speak blah or at least attempt to do so out of respect for the greater beings and now their brothers, the Urukim.

The honorary is expected to show courage, pride, wisdom, and strength. They are to follow the codes of Krug and never abandon their honor. Failure to follow the codes and teachings of the Orcs will result in severe punishment or whitewashing.

ON THOSE OF THE PAST

Continents move swiftly, and so does the goi. Many Orcs and honoraries alike lose their way, abandoned by their kind. If an ancient honorary appears from the desert sands, they will have to show proof of their name, clan, and previous virtues to show that they are truly of honor. It will be up to the Krimpgoth and Rex personally to allow them back within the goi.

If the name is unknown and the honorary has not been lost but is living within the concrete walls of the lesser kind, their honorary title is stripped, and they must perform these trials to regain their title.

"Wi', dah zonz agh daughters 'ob Krug, ztray further agh further awai' from dah Old-Father wit' each Rexdom daht rizez, agh inevitably fallz." Zag, son of Yar, proclaimed. The words produced from his maw carried a deep sense of concern for the fleeting connection with their ancestral traditions. "Dihz change zpeakz toh dah rootz dah't all Urukim zhare - ah return toh dah old wai', dah ryght wai'." The Yar emphasized, knowing well the path painted, one of profound transformation and absolute dedication.

The Sparrow lifts his hand in victory and honks his red nose - maybe finally, he can begin his journey to become an honorary and learn witch doctoring from REAL SHAMANS to 'prank' the canonist church.
