Long centuries hath my servitude been pledged to the Silver City, and long have I watched my ilk with wonder and mirth. So, too, are the thoughts which fill me now. Had time been kinder, I would have shepherded you longer and with more determination, and I would’ve called you brothers and sisters in silver. It is alas, not the legacy of a Maheral that I shall leave behind, but rather that of a patriot.

 

So now do our roads divide as Larihei’s beacon guides me on pilgrimage. Our roads together may reach a larger way - and we may meet again.
