HUMANITY AND THE HEARTLANDS BLEED,

As of the damage done by the deranged Frederick Aurelian, who does, as of Our writing this, remain an outlaw and enemy of the state, whose return to Our lands shall be punishable by being hung, drawn and quartered, same as any who were judged complicit in his vile acts of regicide, murder, treason and pillaging both in Our own lands and the many lands abroad.

And as of the damage done by those of Stassion and its Margrave, who was ordered to grovel before the Paradisian Throne to show submission to Royal Authority and forthwith put on trial.

AND THOUGH FOUND INNOCENT OF DIRECT INVOLVEMENT,
Was promptly charged guilty of clear show of  incompetence for his failure to keep his own family and bannermen in tow, and thus, as a result, charged by Our Crown with the following punishments:

I. He is first and foremost, to be stripped of his status as an Estate within Our union, and promptly stripped beyond as much of any and all titleages and connections that might have been granted by Our Royal Crown and predecessors in times past, never again to call these his own,

II. He is second, though allowed to maintain his lands as a show of mercy so that he might once more prove himself to virtuous rule, to be expelled from Our realm within one month time, never again to enjoy good reputation therein or be received by those whom are Our people,

III. He is third to promise to extradite his father before Us should he ever show his face again, same as any of his accomplices should they return from their seeming exile for fear of repercussion, whose set punishments shall be that of being hung, drawn and quartered,

IV. He is fourth to make a holy vow on the relics of the Saint Alexander of Furnestock before the eyes of GOD, come into effect as of the issuing of this writ, by means of which he promises never to take up arms against GOD’s church, Our union for the sake of late revenge, or otherwise, similarly as We shall swear not to seek vengeance for that which happened on these holy relics. Insofar he has vowed as much, We ourselves vow to stick to Our judgement, promising never aggress and to take up arms against him unless in the case where he does break the holy vow,

V. We Ourselves a man of GOD at heart, he is fifth to promise his service to the Mother Church as a Deacon within the coming years, so that he might reflect on his failures and do penance. Never to forget that it is to the Lord GOD and His holy mercy that he owes his life, for any other man of different stature would surely have lobbed his head off for the crimes that his men committed.

"Haha, idiots." The Queen-Emeritus loudly laughed at the missive dispatched by the umpteenth iteration of the Aaunic crown in so many years. "They will not last long on their own - I will it to be so." With that, she began to plot.

The Viscount of Mies, Adrian Godfrey reads over the letter with utter shock. "They've committed REGICIDE and they get told they are allowed to be their own independent entity? I don't even see how such is even a minor slap on the wrists for the crimes they've committed. If someone were to commit such crimes in the Commonwealth, their head would be removed from their shoulders." Adrian soon passed the missive over to his wife to read, still in shock and disbelief over the Aaunic way of dealing with unruly vassals.

Prince Edmund would state in response to Waclaw. "Sometimes it is better to be merciful and put terms on parchment than to have a confrontation that is full of enmity. To so recklessly kill those who had no direct involvement in the murder of my beloved late cousin, Edmund II, makes us no better then those who did have a hand in it."
