HOUSE OF AMADOR 69 Share Posted June 19, 2024 1350 A.H. - Present ─── From Ashes, We Rise EST 143 E.S. - Present | 1590 A.H. - Present ⋅ ───⊱༺⠀☨⠀༻⊰─── ⋅ 534 E.S ⋅ ───────────────⊱༺༻⊰─────────────── ⋅ VA EDLERVIK, The business of legacy is difficult. Do not let the following proclaiment in any way cast shadow upon our love for all our daughters as young women of promise and ambition, nor do we seek to turn them out from the warmth of family. However, as a House we have too often fallen from grace – and so at the first sign of playing with fire, we must exercise the utmost caution. We request privacy, prayers, and patience in this time of upheaval, though we must establish two developments in the Amadorian line of succession. ON THE BARONY OF MONDSTADT By order of the Crown, the BARONY OF MONDSTADT is returned from Her Ladyship Esfir Amador to the Viscount Henrik Amador and Her Serene Highness Emma Anastasya until their deaths or abdication. ON THE INHERITANCE OF ZVEZLUND AND MONDSTADT With the blessing of the Crown, the Viscounty of Zvezlund and Barony of Mondstadt will be, upon the deaths or abdication of the Viscount Henrik Amador and Her Serene Highness Emma Anastasya, passed to an Amador of their declaration. As their Ladyships Selyne and Emma née Amador have joined in patrilineal marriages, and as the ill health of Her Ladyship Nikala Amador prevents her assumption of formal duties, Her Ladyship NERIDA AMADOR will hereby stand as heir-presumptive to the House and its lands until the final declaration of the Viscount and Princess Royal. PETRAVEZK IV VATRAGAN, His Excellency, Henrik III Edvard Amador, Lord Speaker of the Royal Duma, Viscount of Zvezlund, Baron of Mondstadt, High Archivist to the Royal Valdev Library and Lord of Queen’s Crossing Her Serene Highness, Emma Anastastya, Princess Royal of Hanseti-Ruska, Duchess of Karlsburg and Karosgrad, Viscountess of Zvezlund, Baroness of Mondstadt and Lady of Queen’s Crossing
Cheese 8899 Rep Farm Share Posted June 19, 2024 Two weeks. Esfir Amador had returned after being held captive for two weeks. None of her kin welcomed her return, no. Instead, the tortured and traumatized woman was met with disinheritment? For no reason? Was this some cruel, twisted joke? What was the meaning of this? What did she do to have deserved such torment by first her undead captors, and now her family? That night in Mondstadt, a fire roared. Feeding the flames in the hearths was a Compendium. Copies of House Amador’s history reduced to ash. And that very same night, the now former Baroness of Mondstadt watched the flames. They reflected the wrath in her tear filled eyes. She had been told she was born for greatness. She had been bred and raised to be a Viscountess. And this betrayal? From the parents who had claimed to love her so much? It was unforgivable. No. This could not be the end. Nothing could ever stop her from the greatness she was promised. Not the undead who held her in a cave for two weeks. Not the flames burning the bridges between her and her kin. Not even the fire scorching the Compendium in the fire pit. Spoiler Thanks for the past two years.
tadabug2000 4924 Popular Post Share Posted June 19, 2024 Renata Alba surveyed the missive, blonde brows arching upwards. Her dear friend was just kidnapped and tortured for weeks, the earlier missive sat at her right - and her family disinherits her? What could Esfir have done to deserve such cruel treatment? The gentle rocking of a cradle sounded in the background, where her newborn daughter slept soundly, her husband peering over their sweet girl. With utter shock and dismay, the woman dipped her quill in ink and began to draft a letter, having every intention to check on her friend. It began with; "Dearest Esfir,"
Lalosia 1001 Popular Post Share Posted June 19, 2024 Theodosya von Augusten, sister to the reigning Viscount of Zvezlund, could scarcely utter a word after reading the missive. Her aged hands crumbled the paper, tossing it away. She hastily bowed her head in prayer, signing the Lorraine repeatedly over her body. Mumbled affirmations to Godan were all that could be heard from the library within Rickardsburg - wherein which the woman had tucked herself away. Standing just to the side was her mother, Nataliya Amador - Baroness of Mondstadt, and her aunt Liridona Amador. The two sisters rambled on and on about such a betrayal coming from one of their own. Various curses rippled from their mouths as if heavy, storm-ridden waves crashing against the withering wood of an old ship. Though the woman's mind had been failing her lately, seeing such visions of people who were long dead - she still had the sense to know that you never commit such treacheries against your fellow Amador, let alone ones own daughter. "Brother, what have vy done..."
Melpomenne 2032 Popular Post Share Posted June 19, 2024 The door to Nerida's room slammed shut. She paced about the room within her mentor's manor — cities away from New Valdev. Southern-bound and far from her kin, Nerida was isolated from the recent happenings. With the missive announcing her eldest sister's kidnapping, then subsequent return, alongside the missive announcing that very same dame's disinheritance arriving on the very same day by the hand of her guardian's iron henchman, she was deeply troubled. The girl was not naïve or prideful — she knew little of the intricacies surrounding the decision made by her parents, but she knew she was undeserving of the title and responsibility. -+- "Undeserving by what means?" Spoke one side of her mind. "Not having been born first? Anyone could have been born first." "I was born last," returned the other side of her mind. "It is not right. It was always her... never I. What sense does this make?" "All that matters little now. The decision was blessed by the King and Queen." "I'd pack a bag, if I were you." -+- Nerida set forth upon horseback to Mondstadt with naught but a fortnight's sack.
carebear 1291 Popular Post Share Posted June 19, 2024 Dame Rowena of the Petra looked over the missive, eyes going wide. She'd known Esfir since they had been little children and she knew just how much work had been put into becoming a Viscountess. "Esfir does not deserve this treatment, much less by her own family" The Princess sighed, then reached for a piece of paper and began to pen a letter to her friend...
Frawlic 1602 Share Posted June 19, 2024 Sifrá Korvacz rubbed mindlessly at her thumbs as if to smudge away the invisible ink from a letter written prior to Emma. None of this came as a surprise, not with the information she had sent, and part of her couldn't help but wonder if it were her fault. Though ultimately at the end of the day, she believed she had done right. With the newfound information, she wandered to go find Elisei to comfort. She knew who was in the wrong.
sam33497 7360 Share Posted June 19, 2024 In mouse-heaven, Zahkriikyzer wielded the pinnacle of mouse-invention; it was a device which measured fate, extrapolated from the small vibrations within anything at motion. Though the scale of this apparatus was much greater, Zahkriikyzer had a tendency to watch Aevos; it was a form of entertainment in his kind afterlife. Abruptly, he noticed a blip in a certain graph. He narrowed his mousey eyes at the diagram. "Within Kingdom of Haense, House Amador. . . Projected stocks down. Huh, I wonder what happened, it looks like they're losing all relevance in the next few years. . ." He shrugged and returned to observing the continent at large.
Sebbysc 747 Share Posted June 19, 2024 John Valentinus came across the missive during one of his sparse visits in Haense. Something struck a string that tugged on his heart, and he made sure to keep a copy of the parchment. On the ride home, he thought of an old friend, a brother of his… "What would James want me to do at this moment?"And so, he sent a letter.
Wavey 2568 Share Posted June 19, 2024 An Amador-Colborn who went by the name Benedict "Benny" Amador quickly made his way to his cousin Esfir's residence as he shouted in the streets of New Valdev ever so fervently. "THERE WOULDN'T BE AMADOR WITHOUT ESFIR AND LIRIDONA!!!"
Legoboy7984 3155 Share Posted June 19, 2024 Sigmund sat at his desk, a stack of books and a few letters before him. His eyes caught the Amador seal on the latest missive. As he read the announcement of Esfir Amador's disinheritance, his brows furrowed in confusion. "Disinherited... but what was the primary reasoning behind it?" he muttered to himself as he continued reading. Having known Esfir and considering her a friend, he was puzzled by the news. After some thought he took take a deep breath before muttering, "This is an Amador family matter, one that I shall not see myself involved in. Though I wonder how things will play out. Hopefully, one that will be peaceful."
zevenity 234 Share Posted June 19, 2024 Revekka groans, rolling herself out of bed and making her way down what seemed like thousands of stairs. She finds a piece of paper on the table, giving it a questioning look. Though, she could not beat her curiousity. The letter was picked up, a tilted head staring at it. "The ****? The hell could she've done to deserve this?" She uses her other hand to rub at her temples. "The amount of work she poured into it gone like that? What a fuckin' joke. Poor excuse of a family." A hand slaps over her mouth, maybe that last part was a bit too far. 'Course it wasnt!Speaking of! Revekka's got some grubby little hands to pry off of something they definitely should not be on. . . And another pair that likes to eat sand. Though, a gift would be delivered to Esfir soon. Maybe not soon, but eventually.
Chorale__ 2147 Share Posted June 19, 2024 Prince Paul Alexander of the Petra shook his head at the title-grabbing, as something similar had been done so viciously to himself in his recent, older, years. To his new friend John Valentinus, he remarked, “This woman needs a cup of cocoa and a friend.” @Sebbysc
_RoyalCrafter_ 5285 Share Posted June 19, 2024 The aging duke Sterling's condition got worse as he received the missive. "What happened to ve amadors? To mea" he coughed phlegm onto his blanket, it would need changing again. "Mea kin..." He threw the blanket away and shimmied along to his desc to reach for quill and parchement.
asoart 133 Share Posted June 19, 2024 William stumbled upon the missive during his visits, he recognised the crest, peaking his interest. He walked over read it carefully. The first part made him raise a brow making him read faster, suddenly his eyes wide opened in shock "What???" he said reading the second part, in disbelief he read it again "WHAAAAT????" along with his eyes, his mouth too was wide open. Upon finishing reading the missive he turned the page around "Huh?" he kept looking up and down the missive to see if he overlooked a part "The reason??". There was a lot of confusion "I should pen her a letter. Imagine raising a daughter like Esfir and then disinherit her at the last moment." he took a deep breath calming himself "Their loss I guess, she will definitely be valued somewhere else."
