To the citizens of Ravenmire, Rhosmark, and Blackworth, 

 

 

After months following the Royal wedding of His Highness, Prince Allerick Fyodor and Her Grace, Cosima Victoria Rostova, it is with utmost honor to announce the birth of the firstborn child, and heir to the Kingdom of Ravenmire - Prince Thorin August Rostova. In Privacy, following the birth of newborn Thorin, he was blessed under the eyes of God, promised to be wrapped in protection for the entirety of his life in presence of both parents.

 

 

With this being said, the couple invite all within and beyond Ravenmire to gather in celebration of Thorin’s arrival within the local tavern of Rhosmark! The gathering will take place in two Saints day-

The Duke of Blackworth gave a toast in his hall upon hearing of the birth of the new grand-heir. Henry immediately began writing a letter of congratulations to the Crown-Prince and his future liege, and made further plans to attend the gathering.

Young Penelope of Blackworth stood closely at her fathers side, clutching her stuffed goat close to her chest as she watched him closely. A new baby she thought, much like her own younger brother, A smile creased her lips as she rushed off prepared to prepare a gift for the new family.

Cosima had suffered a trying labor, and the recovery had taken its time. She had not had chance to bring her creature comforts with her to Ravenmire before the birth, and had spent her days abed, surrounded by medics. Oh, how she wished for a shred of normality.

The brightness through it all was Allerick, who had watched over her day and night, and who had remained dilligently by her side.

 

When the child came, Cosima had spent the first few days too weak to even hold the child. She already regretted such.

 

She eventually sent word for her handmaid to write to her family; to San Adriano, to her Mother, William in Hyspia, and to Lavanya in Balian. Hopefully, some friendly faces would lift her spirits.

 

"We can name him on the tradition of Ravenmire and your house," Cosi stressed to Allerick, "but we must honor mine in a way. August or Adrian as a middle name, is what I ask."

Wilhelmina Emma, the mother of the Princess-consort of Ravenmire, smiled brightly upon seeing the letter she received, an invitation to visit. Wilhelmina was saddened by the fact she was unable to attend Cosima's wedding due to harsh weather on the journey to, but was happy to be personally written to, with an offer to come visit. She was also proud of the name that was chosen for her grandson, and although she knew August was likely used in honor of Cosima's younger brother, it was still a name Wilhelmina chose back in 1955. She used it as a way to honor her family, that of House von Augusten. "We must make plans to attend their gathering, ja, son?" she asked, looking over towards August Benedict, who had been sitting with her when they recieved the mail. @__Stal27

Cosima was secretly grateful that barely anyone came to the wedding because of xbox outages. Least it was peaceful, so she held no grudge against her mother not being able to attend.

The Viscount of San Adriano, with much recent ongoings had found himself far too engrossed within his desk as parchments and missives after missives had left him irritated, yet he persisted without a break until a living broom alongside a doll of the viscount himself, creations of Cosima’s housemagery found itself causing a ruckus until they struck the desk of the viscount and spilt forth ink upon his parchments.. his eyes rising and meeting the two living things offering a momentary ire before he released a soft sigh in guilt, commenting, “I have heard little from your creator recently.. I do wonder how she fares..” 

 

It was only then that the viscount would be privy to the words of his mother who he seemed to react too as his eyes widened to the words she spoke, reaching forth to take the parchment from her hands, his eyes would quickly scan over such a document and soon a smile that had rarely been seen appear upon the visage of the Viscount recently would soon appear, wider and larger then ever before, one filled with both joy and pride as his head bobbed vehemontly. "This is Net something that we shall miss. I will pen her immediately and we will attend without a shadow of a doubt. This is necessary and very important to this house." - "Congratulations and presents are in order."
