forgot it's RP default now lol. 11 years later and a big W for the villain application team

 

you might as well just shut the server down before going back to defender default. proves that we're just ping ponging back and forth and all that matters is forum rep you make complaining about meaningless changes

 

i propose a compromise that will make both parties' experience worse:

 

add a very simple ttrpg combat system (SPECIAL stats you assign on persona creation, dice rolls for attacks/blocks/dodges/magic casts). not mandatory (if both players agree an action can be done without a roll) except to break stalemates/arguments about HEMA minutiae.

 

integrate it with pvp. every click a dice roll modified by your strength/dexterity and your opponent's agility. end "skill" based pvp/crp and its inevitable corrosive influence on collaborative storytelling - usher in a new age of random creativity-provoking bullshit.

I was the first to poll in favor of PvP Default and I respect those who supported the vote. Any other vote has been influenced into creating inferior and biased combat systems. PvP Default will always be the legacy system because it allows you to role-play your warrior in rp combat until there is confusion or a decline in cooperative role-play (which is happening more frequently today). This leads to a dynamic PvP situation, which is the actual theatre stage for the actions of role-play, where Wandering Souls don't have to observe players chatting a story for hours to finish a fight, but can witness an active map fight while they are visiting.

  yeah only if tech team were paid to make plugins 🤣🤣 they been saying to make cooking/food plugin for sometime now, but thats another problem for another topic

why wouldnt u its been a thing for years? its not a new thing or sum like that, its embedded to the game itself

people complaining about trackpads and all that. im running on 300 ms ping and still beat some "scary" pvpers

off topic, but when i try to rp no one wants to because im a "pvper" even the staff told me and @budaqto get a better skin, which i did, but even after that some people that ive never interacted with still react the same way. ain't that a shame to the community lol

realistically why would I bother wasting my time doing smth boring like pvp practice when I could instead do something enjoyable, which is what I'm actually here to do - like roleplaying on the roleplay server

if you enjoy wasting your 7 hours for a small minecraft dub on a minemen server, then i cant say anything else but to each of its own

me personally i enjoy making money and pvp instead of wasting my time over a small ego boost on minemen server 😂

For the various times I've crped, and despite how many times I've stated I have and will enjoy detailed Crp majority of the time, It's so annoying to get into a CRP fight, and get confused for absolutely no reason, The system is confusing and to this day, I have NEVER understood it fully. 

 

I think a rework on the Crp system would be best rn gang.
