Published in the Annex, Lurakahn, the Decree of the Year 24, Age of the Dragon, the Rex Rhak’Dom establishes his new Lurakan Junta. This decree was penned by the Esteemed Servant to the Rex Rhak’Dom, the Halfling scribe known as Secretary Filbert Flipperfoot.

Introduction

The nation of Lurak has enjoyed thirty-years of relative prosperity since its inception. Born out of the ashes of the March of Grommash, the Orcs of the old Iron Horde were left destitute and inhabiting the old relic fortresses leftover from the war. The great city of Orcgrimmar lay abandoned. Once the Rex Rue’Lur commenced her operation to integrate the Ilumrin Vanguard, the Orcs made these Elves a testament to their goal of mutual coexistence, and sought to rebuild the East. Our allies in Norland and Caurost have aided us and provided us ample tribute. Our other tributaries, scattered throughout the known continent, rest safely knowing that the Orcs shall sally to their defense during raids.

Lurak is a modern nation with modern sensibilities. The Infidels in service to the Fel Daemon Iblis still roam freely, though they have been ejected from the Ruins of Vikela that they sought to inhabit after the war. It is the mission of Lurak to preserve peace in the East by any means necessary. The nation shall leverage its horde of Orcs for this astute purpose. All who devise devilish works of stonemasonry to create what the Zhomos called “land-scars” shall be laid low by the weight of our collective hammers. Never again shall Ubuntus be allowed to despoil our sacred countryside, to inflict pestilence on our regional Spirits.

In the pursuit of Orcish Unity and the creation of a larger and greater administrative body, the Rexdom of Lurak remains faithful to the Dream of Greater Krugmar. Together, we shall command the untapped power of the Orcish Horde to pursue administrative and military greatness. To build Greater Krugmar, we must build a greater society to pay homage to our people, to grant them a cause that they might wear proudly. As the Orcs strive for peace, we must retain security over our vast borders, and continue to restore these lands around us to nature.

With that foreword in mind, this document shall offer exposition on our country's customs, political traditions and rich cultural history. Let this knowledge serve as a guide to our allies and a warning to our enemies. May the righteous blades of Lurak piece the heart of the Infidels and quench their devilry in spasms of blood and bone.

Praise be to the Creator, praise be to Krug, and praise be to the Spirits.

The Junta

A “junta” consists of the administrative arm that manages the Realm of Lurak and is spearheaded by the Rex. It is the Rex who appoints members of the Lurakan Junta and removes them. However, the Dominus wields the ability to challenge the Rex of Lurak for the succession. If the Rex of Lurak appoints a successor who is not the Dominus, they must battle the Dominus in an Honor Klomp to be elevated to the Rex of Lurak.

The Rex

The ruler of Lurak is called the ‘Rex’ which roughly translates to King. However, in functionality the Rex is more of a Warlord or Overseer than a King. It is the Rex of Lurak who declares war, manages military-defense alliances and tributes, and appoints the Dominus and the Targoth to the Lurakan Junta. The current Rex of Lurak is Rhak’Dom, the Gortslayer, and Razer of Ubuntus (Rigorous).

The Dominus

The Dominus is the second-in-command and the preeminent political figure in the Rex of Lurak’s warband. Oftentimes, the Dominus is either a warrior of great repute or the most sagely of Shamans. The incumbent Dominus is Tiderippa'Raguk (Jihnyny). @Jihnyny

The Targoth

The Targoth is the leader of the Krughai and works in the service of the Rex. Together, they coordinate wars and the defense of the Tributary States. The reformed Krughai was initially led by the Targoth Jreg'Lur, then Rhak'Dom. Now the incumbent Targoth is Jaelon'Dom (Jaelon). @Jaelon

The Motsham

The Motsham is the emissary of the Rexdom of Lurak to the Spirits. They are responsible for convening the Lodge of Zhomos, as well as acting as an intermediary between orcs and the Spirits. Currently, the Motsham is Madoc'Lur (TheAmazingSewer). @Sewer_Rat

The Rukagoths

The Rukagoths retrieve materials and serve municipal functions in the city of Lurakahn. They are the everyday merchants, armorers, and landowners.

Locations

Lurakahn:

The capital city of Lurak. The inhabitants of the city are referred to as Lurakans. Constructed by the great Rexkhan Daahd'Lur who ruled over both Caurost and Lurak as the Khanate, the Rex Rhak'Dom took up the mantle of leadership towards the end of the Imp Crusade and the Rexkhan's abdication. It is the home of many Goblins and Uruks.

The Annex

A castle constructed by the Rexkhan Daahd'Lur which houses the archives and personal offices of the Lurakan Junta. It is here that the Klamor convenes to discuss matters of importance for the Orcish Race, and it is the place where all official missives are issued by the Rex in the throneroom called The Seat of Daahd.

The World Cactus

Created from a host of Shamanistic magical rites, the World Cactus is a ginormous cactus, the largest in the known world, that is protruding from the sands at the epicenter of the former capital city of Orcgrimmar.

Statue of Swiv'Lur

The pristine statue of the mythological Orcish Folk Hero Swiv'Lur "The Savage", the slayer of Whii'Lur "The Betrayer" that overlooks the city's Commercial District.

Akekhel'Keruk

The Dark Elven District ruled by the venerable Veluc Strixi, renowned alchemist and demon slayer. It is the home of many Dark Elves who found a new home in The Khanate. Once The Khanate was dissolved, these Mali'ker remained in Lurak and did not move to Caurost. The path to the great Dark Elven homeland is illuminated by glowing mushrooms.

Goldtooth Foundry

A parcel of land gifted to the gifted Goblin Engineer by the name of Druzz Goldtooth. It is where all the weapons of war such as trebuchets, mortars and other siege engines are created to wage war on infidels in service to Iblis.

Alliances and Tributaries

3gm2cjv.png

This column describes the foreign policy and present allegiances of Lurak. The Rexdom commits itself in its totality to the defense of its allies and tributaries against the Infidels of Iblis. In the interest of fraternity and bolstering the other races against Evil (The Sons of Vikel, the servants of the Fel Daemon and his servant Bal'ance). Diplomatic channels remain open to those who seek immunity to the raiding and Warbands of Lurakahn. Orcs are committed to the process of honorable gift-giving. As such, those who gift things to Orcs shall be given respect, and those who smear the name of Krug shall die to klomping.

Spoiler

Allies:

Caurost - Full Military Defensive Pact

Norland - Full Military Defensive Pact

Tributaries:

Honorable Grense - Defended in raids, gifts are shared between both nations, diplomatic channels open.

Honorable Haense - Defended in Raids, gifts are shared between both nations, diplomatic channels open.

Prone:

Prone describes countries who have no open diplomatic channels with Lurak and as a consequence are susceptible to raiding in the future. All countries that are not Allied or Tributary Status are vulnerable to looting and klomping.

So says Rhak'Dom, The Gortslayer, Rex of Lurak, Razer of Ubuntus.
