This day of the Imperial Time of 2022, the City of Balian was raided in response to hostilities from the Haenseni and Balianite Military, after which; All remaining members of the Raid Party vanished within the city of Balian. Church forces soon raided and occupied the city during the day, which caused most of the Balianites present to vanish or hide. I, an attending member in the Church's Raid Party, was searching for the men and women responsible, I stumbled upon the sewer system of Balian. When entering the system, the tunnels stretched all over the city, acting more as tunnels for easy escape than ones of sewage management.

 

After some time spent searching, a discovery was found within the depths of their systems. A sacrificial circle, fit with blood drawings, an alter, crude messages, candles and the introduction of blood letting or sacrifice. When discovering this sacrilegious site, I immediately sought the aid of many other members of our raiding party. The present members of the party were not limited, but yet I found many Templars to assist in discovering what has found. Upon further inspection, the site was remnants of a Blood Magic alter. The Tar of Numendil, Anorhil and many others witnessing the site, they immediately thought to run back and find more witnesses to the site of the black magic.

 

 

To the Balianites Who Think it's Best to Use Magic against God's Will

You will die with your allies in battle for the sins you commit, the Covenant and its atrocities will no longer be hidden underneath the rug. Your darkest magic will one day be revealed under HIS light, and you will fall in the depths with your dark ways.

 

To the Balianite Allies who Partake in Raids Against HIS Disciples

These are the people you wish to ally with? Sacrilegious demons and murder-hungry manics hiding when their consequences come to be met. You ally with cowards and dark mages to grow your numbers yet fear when the light comes out. You will no longer be safe in your deepest holes, because HIS light will always find that crack to slip in through.

"To the residents of the Holy League,
First, I would like to explain that yes. That blood magic circle is in Balian's sewers. It has been there before most of the current generation was born, and it has been left inactive after whoever used it in the past was killed. If anyone doubts my claims, ask one Louis Ashes, who currently runs a vineyard in your territory. He has encountered this circle before, and knows it was never endorsed or used by Balian, and has not been used by anyone in decades. Anyone who stumbles upon it can quickly tell it is inactive. As for why it is still in the sewers of Balian, the explanation is rather simple. Firstly, Balian's sewers have always been relatively minor to issues such as the economy, housing, education, and national security against forces domestic and foreign. Blood magic benefits no one in Balian, and it should be clear, by the circle's age and its location, that if it was truly the endorsed public work of the Kingdom of Balian, it wouldn't have had to be set there, nor would it be left unused for decades. Secondly, the sewers of Balian are a maze, as I am sure the raiders who attacked Balian for hostility that none of our soldiers were involved in can attest. More often than not, it is better for anyone inexperienced and without protection to go and explore down there, and most people experienced enough to go down there quickly and safely have far more pressing duties, duties which you have made much more frequent.

To those making these allegations, given your fervor towards hunting down those whose actions are an affront to GOD, there is a mage fighting for you and your forces by the name of Thalien, from Haelun'or. This mage has committed blatant blasphemy and heresy in declaring himself a GOD uplifted by Aenguls to punish all those beneath him as sinners, I know this because this same mage killed a citizen of Balian and nearly killed me not a year ago outside the front gates you tarnished. But I have the suspicion you will not believe me, nor care to investigate, nor will you even have the decency to respond to this criticism of your 'investigation' of such serious accusations that we deliberately ally with the Adversary that has threatened our community and taken from us too many loved ones to count over the decades. After all, you didn't even have the decency to explain to me in a letter the exact crime my nation was supposedly guilty of. As for mercy? The orcs of Krugistan murdered a child because when Hyspia rallied to retrieve a child, they didn't show up alone to be ambushed by a larger army. Haelun'or has killed guards doing their jobs in such brutal and barbaric ways that it's insulting to claim that any death we cause comes close to it, and you have not spoken out against or taken action against these very unholy and immoral acts against people who do not deserve such hatred and violence. You claim we are the violent ones, the wicked ones, the ones who are serving Iblees with our resistance to these violent attacks on our lives and children. Let me ask you this then: who was the first to declare war? The Horenic Covenant, or the 'Holy League?" I'll give you a moment to decide.

Correct answer, the 'Holy League' did. Every claim you make against us continues to get contradicted by your actions and the constant fluctuating of your allegations against us. Every time you could have truly shown mercy, forgiveness, every time you could have truly shine GOD's light, you have chosen to slaughter us like animals. But we are not animals. We are people. We breathe the same air, we have hopes, dreams, we love, we hate, we remember, we forget, and above all else, we have shown FAR more mercy to our enemies, and their children, and we have shown honor every opportunity we are given. Earlier today, a darkspawn attempted to kidnap a Balianese teenager outside Celia'nor, and forces from Numendil helped kill the creature and allowed the child to return with us. In return, we allowed them to go as a show of goodwill, even when we have more than enough manpower to attack them and win anyway. This was shortly after allowing the children of one Ledicourt Vuiller of the Church of Canon inside the gates of Celia'nor for safety after being attacked by the same monster. Can you say you would have done the same? Would you have been so merciful as to allow an enemy you know you will face later to go freely? If you believe so, then I hope you can knock sense into those who have not practiced what you preach on your end."

A ranger sat in her camp by a fire read over various missives she had collect throughout the day. The adunian then raising a brow as she read the Estevot, her eyes lingering on the words talking about a lack of mercy. Which she then immediately thought back to various times that mercy was shown and there was even an effort to return the prisoners home. The ranger set the  missive down as she looked to her horse spoke to it as she usually does by the fire "It seems this write either does not entirely know what he is talking about or is a simple follower as usual. In either case perhaps we shall meet him and get the chance to speak." The horse paid the adunic woman little mind as it stood there.
