Rhys kicked back with his feet on the ottoman and then relaxed.

"Perhaps, for a few moments it is best you focus on your internal matters firstly, as opposed to attempting to instigate diplomatic incidents." Aytheln paused then, seated within his home in Cauróst as he pondered over the missive, shaking his head. "Does the Princedom not value purity just as much as the Silver State does? Only Elves of pure lineage are allowed to be given the status of citizen, or am I mistaken? Did this very Princedom not treat others such as Cursed Children as lesser based on their own lineage? Perhaps the High Prince should be more cautious in publishing missives such as these! Perhaps focussing on the empty streets of Cauróst instead of the bustling streets of Haelun'or would do him well. Perhaps it would be wise to realise that the laws of purity are far stricter in Cauróst, than they are in Haelun'or."

The Maehr elder soon left his Caurósi home, venturing forth towards his other home within the Princedom's territories. His room within the Absolute Temple Grounds.

"Purity is a concept you allowed me to preach for many years, High Prince. The original treaty of the Ashen Union was very specific on such. Why is it only now that you have opted to change your mind? I can only wonder! It matters little in the end however, for there are greater forces at play here. High Princes, Sohaers and Maherals alike mean little in the eyes of the One True Solitary God. A shame to see you all stray from the path, a shame to see that none of you shall be able to join us in discovering the One Truth.

And upon coming to such a conclusion within the Temple Grounds, Aytheln retired towdards his home in the Silver State instead. The so-called puritan state, allowing and even inviting many other children of Malin within their walls. In the eyes of the Maehr however they were all the same. All were one, as all would become one in the eyes of IT.

"There is no purpose for me there anymore, it would seem. If ideology is what they wish to banish, then they may as well strip me of my status as citizen altogether. So mote it be, may regret fester within their putrid souls."

Spoiler

Not a quip, entirely internal dialogue based on recent character events.

"I thought I was a hypocrite. . ."

The false prince chirped as he read along the edict, shrugging.

"Maybe they're not so bad after all!"

"Speaketh, oh wise, esteemed one, of the people of the shores of good, those who, so near to us, seem so far away!" Said she who wished to learn.

"Of course, my child," said he who had learned, and wished he had not. "Think of the crabs, proud in their place, so proud that when one rises again, the biggest will see that he is maintained in the place that he was. Yet, beneath the shade of a great palm tree, where they may be safe, they will prosper greatly." so spake the elder.

And thus the young woman was bestowed with the wisdom of Acalean! Praise be!

"Unfortunately, I am reminded of the death throes of Celia'nor. There are only so many times I can rant about forgotten history and self-made disaster before I lose all interest in these inconsequential political divides. The choice is clear for Haelun'or to survive." Upon concluding the thought, the woman merely drew on paper various shapes in regard to her studies, those eyes idly watching as she spun the drawing compass.

Valindra took the missive and pinned it to her fridge, which had pride of place alongside the other generally anti-Valindra propaganda that sat there. A mischievous soul at heart, she proudly pointed to her latest addition to the fridge of fame.

"Laerdya, Laerdya look! They must really hate me. How funny is that?"

Laerean was going out through Caurost's lands, once more looking for the minerals that have eluded him so before coming upon the missive and just staring. "I've heard nothing of an incident that has been mentioned from any official in Haelun'or, and it seems that nobody wants to name the one responsible for such hostilities in both Idunia and now apparently Caurost, or they simply haven't told me about it." the aged elf then sighed, seeming tired of the lack of transparency. "Given these recent events and missives, I can see why nobody goes to Caurost."

A certain contentment washed over the visage of Túrin, security finally there to erase the incessant unease biting at his shoulders.

It was a cause most just indeed; maybe then their equanimity wouldn’t constantly be put to the test.

"Oh my! I love some good elven drama!" Said a happy Raziel Amethil from his home in Adria. "Not sure who to bet on, though!"

Aurelith chews at her lip, a thumb brushing over the missive. "And I was looking forward to bringing our clinics together. A shame."

A familiar elf to only some looked upon the missive and up turned his nose at the piece of paper that was given to him by one of the many contacts he may have. He tucks it away and gives a simple shake of his head, "Their noses are growing brown the further they poke and prod, and their jealousy apparent." His eyes lift towards one of his near friends @Ferd0207. "Look upon this and realize, their institute stands for nothing. For there was no king but Malin, and he was a terrible king. Thus our export under Larihei's guidance." A pause the High Elf gave upon thinking over the words once more. "After all, the true home for our Mali'aheral kin is Haelun'or, and none such shall change that."

Hobnailed boots hammered upon the white pavement of the Silver City as the pair meandered about. Antelian did not, at first, afford a reply to his predecessor in the office of elOkarir'sil, instead contemplating for a second or two.

"It is for such that we consider them Mali'ata, llir." The Elf spoke in his characteristic monotony. "They are nothing but slaves to their Valah masters, and to their own animalistic vices. Doomed to history's obscurity." A beat as once more the Elf's boot slammed into the ground below. "I pity them."

"With respect to the Aheral of the silver city, purity is a path that brings neither perfection nor deterrence from stagnation. This belief was never practiced by our Father Malin, and has brought nothing but ruin to Malin'onn that believe it. This is not His way, nor The Way. The Mali people will never know unity under the umbrella of such thinking. We must instead pursue progress and industriousness - not purity. Let us no longer emulate that which has brought us failure, servitude to Valah masters, let us emulate what brought us 1,000 years of Providence and glory - The Way of Malin" remarked the Elven prophet, the saneyir.
