“I said treason is a crime befitting death!” Scoffed Esfir to her great-granddaughter, Anastasia, “These fools just do niet listen… we will watch them collapse upon themselves, and one day, you will be a strong leader who will save us all.” The aged Amiratus then placed a kiss to the giggling toddler’s head, before continuing her stroll through the halls of Kazan…

Meanwhile, another woman in exile handed the paper off to her husband; both of whom had already heard the news. “She brought up the collapse of Oren. Don’t you still remember that day?” She mumbled, leaning against him, “I was friends with the Empress’s niece. Seems history truly does repeat itself.”

The brunette woman smiles from her place in the Seven Skies, nodding approvingly at her husband at her side as they watched over the lady writing her missive. “I’m glad there is still some sense in our people. It seems some of them have forgotten what we and the others fought and died for”

"Such splendid words from the Lady Temesch." Inez Artemisia read through such printings with a small smile, seeking the Grand Duchess Rhosyn to chat about the matter.

"Our southern cousins yet abide by the Chivalries." The Pétrine Archduke of the House Temesch of the Petra murmured with approval after having read the missive, a soft smile coming to rest upon his features. "Valour, duty, and loyalty to God and Country." Joseph I recited of these tenets to his eldest son, a boy no older than six@BoyWonderr. His own thoughts drifted to the meeting within the halls of Kazan, a question now answered in his mind which had lingered in its aftermath. "Perhaps we ought to write them a letter?" Joseph mused as he offered the missive in turn to the Archduchess Magdalena @Phersades

The Archduchess Magdalena read over the missive more than once as it was offered to her by her husband. A deep sigh was given as she offered the writing back with a flick of her wrist. "From what I heard, it sounds like Iohannis was not fit to lead anyways though not everyone is. Do not mistake me for saying the coup was right. I am just baffled that so many people believed they could save an already sinking ship with such a large hole in its side. The bickering on both sides is silly. They let their home flicker out for so long that so many of their own nobility felt the need to take matters into their own hands regardless of possible consequences. It sounds like not enough people cared enough to fix things the right way, and too many people cared so much that they no other choice but to go about it the wrong way." The Valkonen offered a light shrug "Send them a letter if you wish though, I am sure a conversation would be nice." @Deets

I don't know the context to this Lotharia stuff or who the players involved are frankly, but only doing RP and taking directions that has the explicit support of older players of a community or is intended to uphold their OOC vision is how communities become sleeper mode (like Haelunor and Halflings) and stupid years-long prejudices persist (like Oren vs Norland) to the point that the community just becomes an echo chamber that parrots old players who want to feel important. If a group of players want to try something interesting even if it's contrary to what some players like, it's within their right.

Aelyn Greye scans over the missive with a tired expression. The past few days had been exhausting for the Maehr.

"Seriously?" is all the Magi would mutter to himself before throwing the missive into the wind.

A man in exile took the missive handed to him by his wife reading it in silence, his brow barely shifted as he handed it back, “How could I forget? We have watched this play out one too many times, I would think. People mistaking their frustrations as cause for something “noble” and suddenly decide they know what is best, taking matters into their own hands...” He clicked his tongue, “I will not pretend Iohannis was a perfect Duke, real leadership hardly ever is, but it deserves honesty. As a leader ought to be honest towards his subjects, too should his subjects speak up in turn.” A quiet breath left him thereafter as he closed his eyes in thought, Realms fall the moment men convince themselves tearing something down is easier than helping to hold it up. History will repeat so long as their lessons fall upon the deaf ears of those too prideful to listen.”
