A Yosei looked over the missive with glazed eyes, having just dabbled in a batch of fresh Ponderlot. Her lips drew thin as she dwelt on which might occur. Another place that Elves might call home, possibly lost. In part, for they had placed trust in an individual whose history they could not know, whose long history is laid with betrayal, broken promises and sweet lies. The world was a different place now; mercy had become a weakness.  She wondered what they might mean for her personally, with that newfound desire to fix everything. What she did know was that a new approach was needed for her kind of the Elves, but what that might look like she couldn't imagine, not yet. Though what she did understand is that she and fellow Elves will be given little sympathy should future trust be misplaced. The world's tolerance for fools has whittled.

Grimbol Grobol widened his eyes upon hearing the news. "Wow! It's ah good ting I didnt take dat tree dat was offered to me! Cant be hassled with moving out." Grimbol Grobol would lean into his armchair, as he strummed his banjo.

"BANZAAIIIIIII!"

The Honma cheered, readying his tanto which was sharpened 1000 times and can cut even the greatest steel!

The Eltaliyna glances over the missive, heaving a heavy sigh.

"Druii bein' 'ipocrites, who woulda thought?"

She doesn't sound surprised at all.

"Ye'd think they'd be wise 'nough te keep politics 'n druid matters separate, but I s'ppose tha' was te much te ask. 'ow disappointin'."

Yra'lissa goes to find the other council members then, to ask what in Aspects name had prompted the hatred against her people this time. Since she usually kept out of politics, she was rather out of the loop.

“Handed over to the Empire your land?!” Spoke Acalmaehr, confused and dazed at it all “If they do that theyll be dissolved next; Nethers they’ll round them all up and execute them all if historians speak true”

"Gee-gee," says Araum, grandsire to Caius, from the confines of his holiday home.

Inexplicable emotions. Unspeakable thoughts. Hurt. Anger. Repulsion. Uncertainty.

Fear. For having stepped away for a moment, and seeing things come to pass this way once more.

To have Kurai Kuni utilizing the Druii they swore to protect to force an attack on a sovereign nation, all to settle their own grievances with people they have no right to claim ownership over; inversely, to have the Oyashimen play lap-dog to the Empire to settle their scores while paying the price back to a tyrannical nation that knows nothing more than bloodshed and authoritarianism. A knee to be taken by threat of force, and not true alliance. Not a single alliance or friendship she knows of has sounded like it came from true friendship. Just fear.

Have they no shame?

In her head, she knows how this will play. That any and every nation and vassal smaller than the Empire of Man will either swear allegiance with caveats that benefit only the Empire, or be forced off the map through ruthless genocide or destruction.

Idunia took Haelun'or, but the Empire's blades were there. Will the rest of the Mali of Azuras really stand and play happy families with the Empire, hoping if they stay loyal their leash will not be tugged as well? She surely hopes, in her sleep deprived mind, that they not show their stomachs so easily.

Barrowlord Khôr smiled wryly as it read the demand. "It would appear that the content preceding this demand is filler... Or perhaps an attempt to humble the Druids whilst offering an excuse to seek conflict." they suggested to the undead surrounding them. "But this is the essence. The Empire of Mankind and the Shogunate seeking to expand human dominion. Usually one would rejoice at the pruning of Druidic influence, but not so when it marks a significant gain for the Templars... I wonder whether Urguan or the Horde is next?"

Kael Leafman reads the recent news, a frown crossing his features. With a deep sigh, he sends to loved ones via aviary to ensure they are safe.

"I don't seek violence, but if my family is threatened and my back is pinned to the walls of our City, I will be more vicious than our Ancestors ever could be, in the name of the Father, the Mother and the 3rd."

It was at that moment, he decided he would travel to the Roots that began his beliefs in the Wild Faith. To seek out a llir of his and pay tribute to a particular Aspect who may come in handy in times of dire need.
