The hands of the Akaal trembled, for the spokes of fate had turned once more, and he had been called toward greater purpose.

Marcus Tiberias returned home from a field trip of killing cavemen, reclining in his armchair for his nightly reading. "Jumping ship, eh? I don't blame him."

“Does this mean we’re allowed back in the Horde?” A winged woman laughed from a perch high above the capital of the Uruk’s lands. She laughed, and handed it off to the man beside her.“******* took him long enough, no? He’s doomed everyone and is now trying to escape the consequences of his actions.” Another laugh. “I can’t wait to see who gets his head first.” @Travisty

"An embarrassment to Orc-kind, an unworthy leader... an unworthy being, even. Should not have left his position alive, perhaps, and spared his people the shame of his continued existence." Abbot Anton observes

"There is only one future Rex." mused a Prince of Idunia, reading the missive as he sat around a table with his fellow Arthalionath. "Harren killed Krug. Sooner or later that title will be but a footnote under the High King's signature, the title rightfully ours."

Celia'dant would read the words of the paper with a frown, sad to see such a grand and impressive Rex stepping down. This would not stop her though, she planned to help her city even without Torosh’Mak's presence. "Live long and joyous, old chief. You've done well."

"Congratulations, you have led your people to ruin and war. Your best... Horde populations continue to plummet, and your allies abandon you. Even you abandon your own people... what a pity." An aged Iohannis said as he read through the announcement. "Promoting infighting and drawing upon feigned patronage, a true rex indeed."

Shadows stir across the continent in the far north. A ghostly being simply shakes their head. Not in disappointment, but pity.

“The cycle begins anew, a fate unjust. Our plan will have to wait, my dear kin.”

*Looks to the letter with a look of sadness, she mutters to herself in Auvergnian

"Thank you for holding to good morals, and fighting for what is right. You will be missed."

A letter is penned to Torosh’Mak.

"Ave Rex, it is I, Aurelian Greye. I was born in the south, and unfortunately had to spend the most frigid winter one can imagine in the north because of this war. It has caused me great distress, and because of this, I think you should give me all of the southern lands as an apology. The Imperials need good land for vacation homes. After I restore the south to its natural beauty, the south shall flourish with tourism, and the Emperor and the many to come shall gladly enjoy what you have kept hostage from the world. Please do let me know when you have handed off these lands to His Imperial Majesty so I may begin the construction of my own vacation home, and prep the deconstruction of some of the ugliest keeps my eyes have ever had the displeasure of looking at."

Gunthram was given a missive by a passing courier, storm-hued eyes scanned the page. Thus, he would return to his home to prepare himself for what is to come next.

"Rest well, Lord Rex, may thine life no longer be gnawed on by the stress of leadership." The young man hummed as he walked.
