Caius is definitely main King K. Rool. He'd probably play Steve Minecraft on the side simply because the character is overpowered and he'd be toxic with it.
Hernán would probably play Falco cuz it's a ******* bird. Jigglypuff too cuz its sleeping ability is cute :3

shahan would have played ridley because its the edgiest choice
krei would play steve (bc hes busted)
i think asuka would play kirby for a variety of reasons
