I also acknowledge I am CT and I'm not looking to be PRO, maybe I'll make loads of forum posts for it but I don't want to 'run' a nation: I want to re-facilitate displaced communities that want to retain their own individuality back and create just a simple foundation and framework to ensure we do not lose smaller communities of the server. I want to basically make sure y'all keep on here :)

Proposition for Conglomeration

 

Greetings all,

 

You may call me ‘Books’. I am an elf of little renown but of abundant ideas. It is without a doubt that the current wars of Azuras have created an incredible amount of turmoil in the short time we have been here. Many are left in the status of the stranger, of refugees and those now seeking a new home, a new place to ‘be’ in this realm.

 

It is for that reason I propose the formation of a neutral Conglomeracy, a mix-match accumulation of individuals and governments, of styles, of architecture and of culture. It is a ramshackle idea and though I feel it may not truly take off I know that some might perk brows, or in the elven case ears, at the news of it.

 

I propose a settlement of cantons, a city made of smaller cities all interlocked between one another, surrounded by a central neutral district. If on land or water it needs not matter. It is within my fickle imagination that I see each canton dedicated to a certain function or cultural domination: such as those of traders, those of bureaucracy, of arcane and or alchemy, and to those of smithing and artificery.

 

Pretentious, as the ones robed in the Cloud Temple are, they require an exorbitant fee that would require many to contribute to fund such an ideal, and it would require architects and idea-makers. Though, the blessing of such an idea is that each canton would keep its own individuality: this is not a place to conform to other people, but to stay within one’s own world yet share space and life with others.

 

The question of government is truly something of concern, though I would see it as a neutral state that plays little part in each individual Canton’s ideals. That being said, of course I spare little love for the Accursed or Heretical, besides that the individuality of each Canton is within their control, and whomever- be it myself or another- who oversees such a project would act as nothing more than adjudicator for the Conglomeracy: one who holds a firm rule of ejecting those who begin to stir division, and acting to ensure the flow of life through the Cantons. Besides that, I would seek to set out a foundational constitution should I gather enough individuals willing to undergo such a project.

 

To those valuable refugees who have been long displaced and may be seeking new living, I would inspire you to join such an idea. If this is something you would like to contribute to, or are interested in hearing about, I would ask you to put ink to paper and send a letter to me, I have attached an address below for you to write about:

We should be completely independent from politics. A neutral nation. Switzerland larp. And I think it would be cool to segment the cities into different groups that over all work together. Like a farming group- focused on food. Magic- focused on magic. Think- Oblivion capital city. Easy to navigate and it can serve as a hub for new players. A peaceful hub- to help grow characters

Neutral territory. It likely will not last the moment the Empire shatters from infighting. Planning for this eventual dismantling would be ideal, so that it could serve as a ground to reseed the continent with our diverse peoples.

Magic and Alchemics and other shenanigans such as this should not be focused on as much as any other profession.

I don't have character that could be involved at the moment, but I do hope that this is successful.

With people wanting a nation that is a republic to exist on the server, my suggestion is that I think this Conglomeration would fit best in that role. Each Canton ruling itself as they see fit for their race/culture, with the city overall ruled by a council/congress of said Canton leaders.
