The High chancellor was kidnapped as well. A council has been made.

We are stronger in numbers, like the council. It won't be nessasary.

Lets hope a more qualified ruler will come to power. One that actually deserves the privilege.

((Despite what some of the Undead claim, you guys were not nameplated to find where you went. I happened to run past you when you entered the city. Some of you had chainmail, others did not. A few of you also had staves out, a clear sign you are Undead, or might be. I was told to not attack you guys beforehand, so I did not. However, other people were nearby me, noticed you guys, and followed.))

((EDIT: Woops.))

((+1 to all of Allens posts to start off, great stuff and well said.

As for all this hooplah, I will keep it somewhat short. If this was real life(as this is what it is for our characters, we live out their actual lives) you would receive no warning, and your high command, kings and queens, and your places and people of importance would all be in danger at any given moment. If an army swept through and raided and pillaged your town, you would only hear and see of it as it happens, not before hand. The same goes for the Undead who are the single most powerful, most deadly threat to this realm. They would be able to crush Alkhazar with relative ease, in my opinion.

Also, you want to go in to Alkhazar to retrieve all your things? I disagree. The complaints for this fit under powergaming which, in simple terms, means you dont ALWAYS WIN. Your character has strengths and weaknesses, victories and losses. You simply can not come out the victor in every scenario ever. The items are lost as they should be. You would not be able to go back into a now enemy occupied territory to retrieve your things because "They are mine". Pick your character up, dust him or her off, and forge anew, and have a pleasant day :)

PS- This sounded a lot shorter in my mind, oh wells~))

OOC: I don't think some players understand a few things - first off, some events have a definite ending, such as this one. It's simply part of the storyline that we as a team have crfted. Second, have fub with the roleplay instead of worrying about items. You would probably lose them in the map transfer anway.

Basically, just chill and have a good time.

Okay, I have to say something about the event which I unfortunately missed. The rp it has brought is great! I am extremely pleased with where it went. From the refugee camp in Alras, the emergency council meeting, and the horror of Al'Khazar it has all been brilliant. I am very sad that Al'Khazar is gone, I liked the place a great deal and now I don't know where to go, but giving a sense of hopelessness for the humans in Oren has been great. The end justifies the means in this case. I wouldn't care if the undead metagamed and powerkilled everyone in the city just for this end result, because I have really been liking it.

Good job on this one Staff and Undead.

OOC: I have to agree. I had no clue the RP event was going to happen and was just signing on in the morning (live in China) to check in. I went to the Alras main gate to see if anybody was on duty, and it was one other guard. Then, we heard whispers of Al'Khazar falling and were just like :-o . Then a flood of people came in, and it was absolute chaos. There were dozens of people crowding the entrance to Alras, shouting and bickering and crying. And it was just I and another guard who had to deal with all this, it was awesome. We had to shut them all up, move them to the Cathedral and start to provide them with all the food I had. Then, gathering up all warriors and guards to set up patrols and defenses was so fun.

It got better when Syrio and the higher-ups started showing up, but it was most fun when I had control of my own rag-tag militia group compromised of Alras guards, Oren guards, rangers, pages etc, Orcs, dwarves and even elves. Some really fantastic RP and it was great seeing Alras so busy, even under the bad circumstances.

Best event on this server I have ever witnessed.

We do nothing, we realize that to fight is folly and will only result in our deaths. We do what I do, live in the wilderness beneath the ground, we undergo a journey to the farlands and remain there.
