A Grave Insult

As an elf, there is only so much I can take.... They are insulting our honor, our trustworthiness, and the ability of our leaders, who include myself. I am quite tired of this, and I think that our alliance may need to be reevaluated immediately unless the wargoth apologizes. And apologies do not have "buts" in them. You must admit you were wrong, because sending troops onto an ally's soil to assault their citizens and fight their military is in no way, shape, or form acceptable for any people, no matter orcs or otherwise. If you continue to be belligerent towards the elves, we may have to make decisions that will not favor Krugmar.....

Also, anyone to say that the elves have not helped Krugmar is an utter fool, because I personally organized the army that attacked Kal'Urguan, which was about 1/3 elf, and we sent patrols to help you in Galahar and Sanjezel when you were attacked. Your inadequacy to see simple facts is astounding.

Enough of this.. what is the point of all this bickering?

Let the cub decide which parent it wants. If it chooses elves, do not consider him an orc, but a big green elf. If it chooses the orcs, train him and teach him our strength.

Agh fer Bog... Nub worry about him. He would never harm a female other than slobber on their ears, he cant help it, he loves the pointed ears of elves.

There are some sore feelings between us all, a lot of heartache and hurt pride. But look at us, we are ready to go to war over a single youngling. Why? Because both of us want what is best for it. We may raise our children diffrently, instill diffrent manners and teach them diffrent ways of speech. But we both want the same thing, for it to grow up happy healthy strong and honorable.

Cut away the fat and gristle, and we are all made of the same meat. There is no diffrence other than culture. We are all brothers and sisters, we are all family, we are all one.

We all came from the same group of BROTHERS. All that has changed is what Iblees did to us. All that has changed is our appearance and cultural values. So we all live in diffeent places, so what? Do you elves all live in one tree? Or do you spread out as you grow older? Do your children always reside under the roof if their mother? Or do they branch out, find love, make thier own families, have their own children?

And orcs.. what about lat? Do we keep our cubs under us all their lives? Or do we send them out into the world? Does Krug still suckle milk? Or is he out there hunting and eating meat? And what about lat Craotor? Do you still gurgle and coo in your crib, or are you grown and out there fighting to protect this world so that its safe for cubs you might someday make?

Step back and look, both of you. Why are you fighting? Why is the other fighting? What is the goal, the reason we clash? It is the same on both ends, is it not?

Agh to be honest... I am disgusted with both of lat. There are bigger things to worry over.

We were born with the eyes set in front. Stop looking behind lat, stop fretting over the past. We were made this way so that we may look forward, to a bright shining future! Not to break our necks looking at a broken and miserable past.

Honestly.. all this folly over a cub. Lat be acting like younglings latselves! Maybe you all should grow up before thinking about caring for children!

Not caring for children? They are the, how i would put it, the seed to a great tree. No matter what it is. So end this now and we all move on.

Mira, you are telling us off? Who are you to judge us for a mild reaction to what could be seen as an act of war? I think the orcs should look within, before they look to us t solve their problems.

I personally care not for the orcling, though I will support my High Princess's decision concerning it.

What I do care for is the well being of my people. I had one of my Vanguard almost be killed trying to protect me from harm during this fiasco. I am demanding justice and restitution for this assault.

If it were not for Watchman Seth, I could have very well been cut down and that surely would have incited war between us. It is by the grace of Malin that did not occur.

As for Bog, if he touches anyone in Malinor he will be subject to our laws as anyone else is. Touching females or anyone without consent is considered assault as well. No orc in Malinor is above the law. It has been overlooked in the past, but no longer. Word has already spread about this. I recommend to the leaders of Krugmar to pass that down to their people that apparently cannot read or write and rely solely on verbal traditions.

Warmistress, know that I respect your wisdom and your honor. I have always since I've first heard you speak. I am glad that you and Indelwehn have come to an agreement. But know that we have been attacked and insulted, we did not start this conflict.

No elf is demanding war, or fighting. Only understanding and peace, as well as respect for our culture and sovereignty. We respect the ways of the orcs in Krugmar. All we ask is for an apology as well as respect for our ways in Malinor.

I agree Sythra. We elves no not take kindly to our neighbors saying "Get out of latz way, or we klomp yas." This is no way to treat friends, and I feel that orcs shall obey the laws of Laurelin, or they shall be banned, as others have before them.

I agree with Mira, stop this pointless bickering and focus on what is truly important. We should be united, and not let something as insignificant as fighting over an orc cub break our bonds. Forget about the past and lets focus on the problems at hand. Aegis is falling apart, and we need to come together to help save what is left of it.

As I said, Mogroka and I will decide what is to become of Thul, and we will decide what is best for him.

Stop this endless talk of war and fighting. There will be no fighting, and the treaty still remains. I don't even know why you are all still fighting over this. Yes, a mistake was made by both parties involved. Elves, we were wrong in looking after Thul without thinking what his real family thought. We must remember that he is still an orc, and that his orc family may want him back.

I am disappointed in the elves involved in this, we should not fight our neighbors, but remember what they have done for us, and all we have done for them.

This is about Thul, not about what we may or may not have done in the alliance. Think of the cub, and not your pride. End this pointless argument.

No one is suggesting that we fight our neighbors, Indelwehn. But the fact remains that we had those hurt that did not provoke any such violence when they came to retrieve Thul.

Thul is only one that we have to care for. As the Council we have a duty to all of Malinor, to both serve and to protect. What assurance can we offer that something like this will not happen again?

What do I tell our kin who have came to me asking if they are safe in Laurelin?

Be honest. Tell them that they are not safe. Lying to the people is not an answer.
