Safe? I would not say safe, for two times have I had to protect myself against the assault of orcs. Once, I was pursued, with the Fey Druid Vanyariel to the druid grotto, where we fought him off. And once again, I was attacked in a bar, when I attempted to stop this orc from assaulting people, which resulted in my own self almost loosing an arm, and getting a fracture in the skull. If it was not for the presence of mind of a courageous guard, I would not be here to tell the tale. While I love this city, and it's peace, I feel that that said peace has been disrupted of late, and in my knowledge, only by orcs! If there is one thing I may say, it is that the princess, and her council should at least think of is to make the rules of your city stricter, and thus reduce the risk of any fight, that will have an invitably unhappy ending.

Do you have any idea the torment that they could have put that little yearling through?! At least with the orcs they would kill to protect it, just like you would if you call yourself a parent!

This is a cub, a year old cub. That is pleanty old enough for it to know where it wants to be. Let the cub choose who it's parent is to be, an orc or an elf. When that cub makes it's choice, that will be it's race until it chooses otherwise.

If the little one chooses you, Haelphon, he will forever be your son. If he chooses an orc parent, you should respect that and let it be.

Now I expect BOTH sides to shut up and go train to fight the undead, NOT each other. This has gone FAR out of hand at this point. Honestly the actions of both orc AND elf are shameful, and I am appalled at both.

Aunt Indelwhen, I'm hoping to see you later this cycle, since it has been so long since we've seen each other. It's several thousand miles from Dun Scaith to your city, so it will take me awhile. Walking that long distance, especially when pregnant, is no easy feat, even for an orc. So do me the kindess of allowing me some time to get there, will you?

We all understand that the child will get the choice it has the right to make. No one is disputing that except for your followers, Warmistress. But there has been no apology given for the barbarism that was shown to Malinor and its people.

What is happening to us? Ors and Elves? We are becoming like the pitiful humans who stand around shouting at each other at the first sign of conflict. It seems to me that the issues that individuals are drawing with other races are predominantly their own. If an elf has a problem with Krugmar then that is for them to decide, but Malinor and Krugmar are allies and will remain so until Mogroka or Indelwehn say otherwise. If you wish to defy this pact then you will be on your own in the difficult times ahead.

The general consensus is that we have a sustained relationship and the only reason this singular event has been blown out of proportion is because the orcs involved did not feel the need to communicate what they were doing. Handle your discriminations separately, honour our forefathers, and walk with wisdom at your side.
