I can see my opinion and my concern for the ruler of my nation is unappreciated, as well as surpressed. Indel,if you want to limit the opinions of your people so that they mean nothing, so be it.

Forget tradition? I'd sooner fall on my own blade! We are ORCS! Honor, loyalty, these define our race. Tradition is the pillar upon which we build our entire lives! Maybe you elves are too weak to hold true to your roots, but we Orcs will not forget our ancestors and the way of life they passed down to us.

After the battle of Galahar, the dwarves and humans attacked Sanjezal in force, breaching our outer defenses. It was the Black Cross that slew Enor and Thorik, routed the enemy siege and proved themselves stalwart allies to the Orcs whilst the elves bided their time at their homes. The Wardens came after to lend us aid to a counter attack, but before the counter attack could begin your new High Princess showed up and commanded the Wardens to withdraw. It was not Native that kept you from the war, it was that gakh-skahed princess. The Wardens alone would have helped us, and I cannot fault them for loyalty to their leader who commanded them to retreat. I can however fault the elves for failing to honor the alliance we forged. Had the situations been reversed, the Orcs would have jumped to the defense of the elves and been the first to call for a counter attack. We would have laid down our lives for the elves... once. But you broke that alliance when you crawled cravenly into your trees. Honorless skahurz.

Do this again orcs and i will have to challenge the leader of that party......

Now THERE is an elf I can respect. The strength to challenge. I may lead a raiding party just for the opportunity to fight you.

Why is our alliance only considered for war? It is more than that. We should be discussing how to improve our relationship, because clearly a large rift has formed between our two nations.

Blinks at Bircalin and grins as she runs off holding Indelwhen over her head

Myahahaa! All mine! She will not escape the horrible torture that is endless hugs!

Pauses and glares over her shoulder at Ebs

And as for your opinion and concern.. if you cared so deeply for her well being.. you would know who she calls her family. Do not say you hold love for her, when you do not attempt to know those that surround her.

I will die gladly for this princess in my arms, I will tear apart any that dare to harm her. This woman in my hands means more to me than any can understand, the only one that could possibly rival it is Bircalin himself. Indelwhen is one of the very few of my family that remains. My mother.. my father.. my sister.. all gone. My nieces and nephews, gone. All I have left are my uncles and aunts, none of which are even related by blood. All that we are bound by is love and loyalty.

This little elf in my hands, she is more precious to me than any diamond. I honor her more than any spirit, God, or Goddess. I love her more than can even be described by the most eloquent poet in all of time.

And while you stand there to speak as though you know more than you do, I celebrated Thul's third birthday. These two nations that slam together over this cub, claiming they love him more, know what's best for him, yet they didn't even celebrate the day of his birth with him. Instead that honor was mine, and mine alone.

Snorts and digs her feet into the grass, tearing off and laughing while hugging Indelwhen

Blatantly, the relation between the Orcs and Elves is still strong, the bond is not only one of respect but of familt. Indelwehn has spoken her mind and the other Elves will do well to respect that. As for the gentleman referring to Humans as barbarians who solve issues with violence, shut up, or I'll kill you.

*grins cheekily, giving chase to the lunatic assailant kidnapping his wife

I will gladly die for the High Princess. I have known her for 100 years, she has been like my sister for at least 75. Whenever either of us have problems, we turn to each other. You dare question my loyalty to her? We may not always agree on everything, but we are both dedicated to Malinor, even if we have different ways to show our dedication. As for Thul, I can never find him, as he wanders Laurelin at will, and is quite hard to catch up to. Where were you when he was laying the the snow, unconscious from a sword wound and barely breathing? He is not my son, so I cannot promise to be there at every birthday celebration. But, to blame others for hen they were not there and when the were is not fair, as we all have duties to tend to.

I am not as long lived as you, for I was born much later, but one of the first faces I saw, one of the first voices I knew, was hers. If I had not known my mother, I would have thought her to be the one.

As for where I was when little Thul was found? I was busy being tortured by an undead who got his happiness from ripping my unborn cubs from my stomach and dumping salt and blaze powder into the open wounds.

Or maybe it was around the time the Dark elf Thork decided to kidnap and imprison me, and slit me from chin to stomach and whip me until my broken bones gleamed in torchlight. Im so very sorry I cannot come to support a youngling when I am in the process of having my flesh carved and burned away.

Thul isnt my child either, I should add. But I am.doing my best to treat him as though he is, for I consider all races my family.

And if you want to talk about being there for someone, where where you when my sisters own cubs were stolen? Taken from her by the lifemate that promised to love her, only to brutally murder her and dishonor her memory by spreading lies.

If you really want to get into this, Ebs, I will gladly oblige, but I refuse to do it here where it will disturb the general public.

Now if you sont mind, I have to plot another kidnapping and a Bircalin escape route.

Why is our alliance only considered for war? It is more than that. We should be discussing how to improve our relationship, because clearly a large rift has formed between our two nations.

Heres the thing, its NOT just about war. An alliance is a brotherhood of nations. Brothers stick together. They hunt together, they live together, they work together, and they die together.

Its easy to be friendly to us, who wouldn't want to be friendly with the most aggressive race in aegis? It's easy to come to our feast, to invite us to your tournaments, to share architecture with us. These are all boons in an alliance, links in a chain. But one day, every chain must be tested. The strength of its links be mettled.

War is that test. War is what is difficult. War is what defines whether you are our brothers, or a race that likes to come to our feasts. Any dwarf can invite us to their tournaments, any human can come visit us to feast with us (as long as they contribute to the feast, no free loading on Orc lands). But they arent our brothers. We had an alliance with the elves, a brotherhood. And when our hour was darkest, the elves were no where to be found. When our thirst for vengeance was fresh in our mouths, the Wardens were forced to withdraw by your high princess.

An alliance isn't all about war, war is that which tests an alliance. If you will not die with me, you will not call yourself my brother. My brother would stand by me even if he didn't believe in my cause. My brother would throw himself in front of a blade for me if I asked, even if I deserved the death. And make no mistake, I would never hesitate for a second to do the same for him. That is how I know he is my brother. Because its easy to call yourself my brother when everything is ok. It when everything is not ok, in the times when you least want to be my brother, that's when it counts. That's when it is decided if you are my brother, my ally.

You werent there when it counted. You are not my brother. You are not my ally.

Correction, the bond between the Warmistress and the High Princess is strong, the bond between the rest of the orcs and the rest of the elves is Not.

Why not let the will of the many decide if we wish to continue the friendship rather then the will of a few? Not all of Malinor considers Krugmar to be family, as not all of Krugmar considers Malinor to be such either. This is apparent on both sides.

We do not need a pact of friendship to keep your family together. No offense but that is quite a personal affair that should NOT dictate the fate of two nations. I day say there is a conflict of interests in this issue on both sides. Which is why I suggest that the people decide, not the leaders, who their friends will be.

Who are we to tell them who to make a pact with? I understand that we are selected to lead, and make decisions on their behalf, but I fear that personal relations are blinding the judgment.

I can say this, the people of Malinor, as well as many of the council I have spoken to already do not agree with the current conditions of the pact and wish for it to be readdressed.

I love all the elves, save a small handful. The affection I have for Indelwhen could be easily shared to any elf that asks for it. Yet when I come to Malinor, I hear horrid words dripping with venom. Druids, the people that I considered some of the kindest beings out there, stabbed an orc when he was trying to defend a cub he loved as his own, even if it was not his blood.

Little Thul, when I was escorting him out, heard poisoned words on an elves sweet lips, 'filthy vermin'

I do not show my fangs unless I have already been bitten. And in this short time, many have torn into my already weakened heart. I already have much reason to hate, but I try to remember my mothers last words to me;

We are all alive, we are all one, we are all family

If the elves truely wish it, they can request to Mogroka and Indel to end the pact. We can all become the snarling rabid dogs we are beneath the skin. Let it come to the surfqce, we already snap and bite at leisure, why not just show everyone how weak the chain really is?

I wil honor whatever choice the Princess and Warlord make, but from here on.. other than the three that helped raise me, no elf will ever enter my heart again. Instead you will only meet the snarling beast that I have become, ready, willing, and eager to tear into any throat that is not protected.
