Cloaked_Philosopher 7 Share Posted January 12, 2012 If I may say a non-villain stealing in the wild perfectly makes sense. The kingdom laws stop at the border of those kingdoms it does not make sense to not allow stealing in the wilds since it is not truly stealing but more of scavenging since stealing implies that the land is protected by laws. But would you steal from a house you find in the countryside IRL? No. Would a non-villainous/evil character? No.
Samson Option 9652 Share Posted January 12, 2012 I can see how non-villain stealing may be viewed as scavenging, especially in RP desperation? Oh, Hello Deathmetus :
Florishier 67 Share Posted January 12, 2012 About the siege: Example: You haven team 1 and 2. Team1 has village A and team2 has village B. Team1 and team2 get war. Team1 is siegeing village B and wins the battle. Village B is now from team1. Team 2 is mad and wants it back. Team 2 is sieging village B. I'd like to implent a rule for sieging. "If your village has been sieged and you lost, you have to wait atleast 7days irl to try to take back your village." This way the attacker has some time to settle down and repair the damage. About not haven multiple acounts on at the same time. Me and my brother both play on the server. My brother likes to mine and does it a lot. He uses his diamondpickaxe in no-time. We both got our real life and we do diffrent things. He's going to school a bit longer, I go to school and have a job. So we arent that much on at the same time. IC we are also family and we help eachother out. I'm a trained blacksmith and I repair his pickaxe. But often he asks me to repair his pickaxe but most of the time we are not on together, sometimes I logg into his acc and throw me the pickaxe and repair it for him, is this allowed? Because if it not that would be a bit strange. Then I have to turn his comp on and logg in to get the deed on. Thats a waste of electricity energy I think. Could a GM or shift answer this? Sirbubbley 26 Share Posted January 12, 2012 1. may have been answered but, i have 2 accounts why can i not be on both at the same time? i RP with both and with Thorne and Tailion, they meet IC, my new char instead of Thorne wont meet Tailion as a freind, but i dont see why we cant be on at the same time. 8[ 2. can like a large nation seige/pillage/raid a little village, becuase if so that would be a real **** move and honestly, unless its in the nations 500x500 IRL a nation wouldnt seige a little village, unless its made of solid gold or something

Grabthar 185 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Stealing is in no way related to "being protected." Stealing is a moral choice. A non-villainous character would not steal, even from an unprotected chest in the wilds. If you yourself didn't farm it, kill it, cut it, buy it or build it... don't touch it. Unless you're a villain... Then do whatever you want with it. :)
Sirbubbley 26 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Empires will siege anything to expand. yes to expand, but i emna a village like 600+ blocks away, the Seige distance i feel should be defined
argonian 14254 Share Posted January 12, 2012 yes to expand, but i emna a village like 600+ blocks away, the Seige distance i feel should be defined If the village was part of an enemy nation to a certain nation, that nation might be sieged during a war. If it's a trade village, like yours, then a nation might want the money and supplies the village has so they might pillage it. I think you just want your village to be untouchable... Hobolympic 1093 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Well, in ol' Aegis we've used a guild mate of mine's old minecraft account as a bank for our guild. Does this come under "2 accounts nonono?"

Lago 2572 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Well one could very easily use one character to get a certain skill up and then use another account to get a different skill up therefore having two different sets of skills that could be maxed out. Would take twice as long, and only a handful of players are going to have maxed out skills anyway. It doesn't create the effect of one 550 skill pointed player any more than two maxed out players make a 550 skill pointed player. Once again, it strikes me as no worse than two players. I hear people on TeamSpeak arranging armour repairs OOC all the time. Well, in ol' Aegis we've used a guild mate of mine's old minecraft account as a bank for our guild. Does this come under "2 accounts nonono?" Doesn't require them to be simultaneously online.
